OK - we're not visiting until September/October school holidays. But...

We have booked our flights with the lovely people at Qantas!!!!!
And we are so excited.:cool1:

We've had the dates planned for a while. Initally we were going in September this year, but then because of a million different reasons we had to cancel and delay until 2008. So we decided on our school hols for Sept/Oct but hadn't booked. But now we have...

and now I'm just babbling.......
:cool1:

Half the fun of the trip is planning and waiting for it to get here. Have a magical time.

We are also coming from australia, We are a family of six and tried all year to get a good price on flights. We ended up booking with jetstar to Hawaii and then ATA to lax. From sydney the total price was AUD $5535.22 for 6 people return. And we get 2 stops in Hawaii. We are just waiting for a airline sale to get to syney from melbourne. We are going in May 2008 and carnt wait.

WOW!!!! That's a good price, no wait, that's almost robbery! Good work.

That's an excellent price! We flew from Melbourne in May of this year on Air New Zealand and were really happy with $7600 for 3 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant.

i must admit flying air new zealand or qantas would have been more appealing but it just came down to price with us. We have flown jetstar to the gold coast several times and also hamilton island ,and we were happy enough. I have watched all year the price rise on the usa airfare. I was going to wait to see if V AUSTRALIA would release some cheaper fares but i just couldnt wait that long.:cheer2:

We flew on Jetstar to Hawaii (and then AA on to Los Angeles) in May of this year. I really liked the Jetstar plane! Their seats aren't the traditional "puffy padded" style, but more slimline - and I found them really comfortable. The service was "OK", but then the service on Qantas (on the way back) wasn't any better...

HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2
