We booked our own air..........

We booked our own air transportation because we had free vouchers form being "bumped". We notified Disney Cruise Line of our airline and schedule. Has anyone had problems receiving their luggage when they booked their own? We do have the bag tags in our documents. On our other cruises we let Disney book our air transportation.

Do you still have transfers booked through DCL? As long as you have the transfers and the baggage tags are placed on your bags BEFORE you check them in at your originating airport then you should have no problem...Disney will get your bags and transport them for you. If you don't have DCL transfers then you would get the bags yourself.

Thanks, Michelle. We do have transfers booked throught DCL. And we will put our baggage tags on before leaving O'Hare. Love these boards, hard to get work done here at work!
