As well as all the CS of course! Can't let the DIS down!!! :)

:thumbsup2 Wonderful. Now we have September to look forward to. I just love your reviews. Plus, the two of you are just too stinking cute it's almost ridiculous.:rotfl:

I can't tell you how much I agree with your assessment of the BBQ chicken quesidilla.
It is my absolute favorite must have item on every trip since the first time I had in December 2002(see? So good I remember my first time. ;) )
I LOVE it!

hey......i'm gonna be there at the same time! i'm going with a girlfriend september 4th through 8th. let me know when you figure out your itinerary and we can see if we're gonna be anywhere at the same time! park hours for september should be out tomorrow. :cool1:

Cool! DISers to spot!! :cool1: I have figured out some sort of itinerary... OK, I lie - I've got an Excel spreadsheet, with the parks colour-coordinated

I'll post up our parks September 4th-6th, as we're doing DCL on the 7th - I know for a fact that we'll be doing MK on the 6th for our last WDW day. I might be tweaking a bit once I know the EMH hours... hopefully they'll be up at the end of the day - they're not up yet on the DisneyWorld site.

Absolutely LOVED the reviews and pix!! I love the expressions on your face...priceless!! Wonderful review! :)

Thank you very much - stay tuned - I've got a few left in me yet :thumbsup2

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

You are hilarious!

I had this on my list of CS to encourage DH toward and now, I might have to force him if he puts up a fight! ;) I'm sure once he sees the menu he'll be a shoe-in....either that or I'll go alone! I want to try EoS too, I've heard amazing things...

Thank you! You should really try WPE - I cannot rave enough about that Quesadilla! So, so good! Mmmm, now I want lunch!

Thank you very much! Please do write your review... I love reading all the Dining TRs! ::yes::

:thumbsup2 Wonderful. Now we have September to look forward to. I just love your reviews. Plus, the two of you are just too stinking cute it's almost ridiculous.:rotfl:

I'll be here for the next 2 years writing my next dining review! But I am sooo looking forward to eating at them all!! Thank you for reading :goodvibes

I can't tell you how much I agree with your assessment of the BBQ chicken quesidilla.
It is my absolute favorite must have item on every trip since the first time I had in December 2002(see? So good I remember my first time. ;) )
I LOVE it!

2002? Wow, I have a few Quesadillas to catch up on! I wonder if the BBQ Chicken Pizza is just as good?

We were planning on making an ADR to Wolfgang Puck Cafe, as it's available as an appy there... but who am I kidding, I just want the quesadilla! We'll go to WPE!

Oh my goodness I have so many things I want to say in this post!
I am just LOVING your report right now. You took some amazing pictures, and chose some great restaurants:thumbsup2 I was really glad to see your positive review of Tony's. Sometimes that restaurant just doesn't feel the love from the DIS :hippie: We always eat there, and haven't had a bad experience yet!

I see you're staying at POFQ in August? We're going in June, but aren't you so excited! I love, love, love the look of the resort. As a plus- boat rides to DTD!

Like I said- loving your report and can't wait to see more of your writing!:goodvibes

Thank you so much!!

We loved Tony's ::yes:: We actually liked a lot of places that the DIS doesn't like, and disliked a few places that get rave reviews... we might have freakish tastes in food - who knows

I am SOOO excited to be staying at POFQ! It looks lovely in the photos... since you go before me you'll have to take lots of photos to show me :)

I love love love the NBC photo in your signature... I heart Jack Skellington!!

So did you like WGPE? I couldn't quite tell from your review ;) :rotfl:

We're there from 14th to 28th so keep an eye out for me too :goodvibes

Thanks to your review I'm definitely going to be eating at Wolfgang Puck Express in September!!

Oh and I stayed at POFQ last January and I loved it! I hope you have a great time there. Looking forward to the rest of your TR :thumbsup2

Sure, here is my full list! I was only allowed to make 10 days worth due to the 180+10 rule.

great review although Im hoping we might get lucky and you finish it before your next trip:rotfl: but I have a question...I will be going to wdw for the first time next year and I am a genious at DL but know NOTHING about wdw and Im trying to practice what I preach about throwing what you know on one place out the door when dealing with another place...so if Im understanding correctly...I can book up to 10 adrs on the 180th day before my visit? what if you have more than 10 adrs you want to book? when can you add them?

Love this report!! I just read all 22 pages (over a few hours.) I love the restaurants you ate at.

50s PT and WCC make us nervous as we don't like bringing attention to ourselves. The food looks so good though. I guess we have to get over our fear.

I can't believe - 17 days at WDW plus 4 days at DCL. How lucky!!! I can't wait to read that dining TR.

Maybe not so much freakish tastes but an open mind? I know that sometimes reading the bad reviews on the DIS make me second-guess past experiences in everything- from restaurants to resorts to attractions! But in the end, I have to go back to the moment- was I in WDW? Yes! and Was I enjoying it? Double yes!:woohoo:

I plan on taking tons of pics! I haven't really done much in the past but looking at the great photos on the boards makes me want to, at least!

And thanks for the compliments on my signature- it is one of my favorite movies. I had to add my girliness of loving princesses princess: and balance it with my love of that movie/scene.

EDIT: I just wanted to add that I'm really thankful for your 50's PTC review. We'll be visiting there for someone in our party's 50th birthday (I know, I'm so clever:rolleyes1 .. and no, it's not my 50th  )

You have a wonderful way of putting your reviews into words (and LOTS of pics)! Thank you so much for sharing! :thumbsup2

I'm looking forward to hearing more...:goodvibes

If you're staying on property, you can book 180 days out from your arrival date, plus 10 days... which is basically what I did there with my other ADRs.

The rest, I started calling when they became available, although today, I was able to make ADRs from Sept 1-6 somehow :confused3 But I'm not complaining!! I'm done now... I'll post the rest up in a mo!

I was between 2 minds about WCC and 50s for the same reasons... however, I think the servers can sense when you don't want to be 'picked on' so much and they might just do the tossing of straws, etc...

However when we got there we loved the antics! Our WCC server was a hoot, others we saw were tamer so they do exist! Our 50s server, although lovely, did not do any antics... she said she's make us do some chores but she never did... man, I wanted those chores :rotfl:

Please do come back for my next one!!

50s on your 50th!! :lmao: That is a really clever idea! We loved the 50s!

Plus, we got all our food for free, so I ain't complaining about anything! If we'd have had bad food, we'd probably just have left and ordered CS... luckily we more or less liked every TS! Plus like you say, we were in WDW!! I was just happy to be there :goodvibes

Y'all come back now, ya hear?! :thumbsup2

Right, so where were we? Ahhh yes, that's right - GOOFY'S CANDY CO!!

Now what wonderful person dreamt up this idea? Get a sickeningly sweet candy item, drown it in even more sickeningly sweet candy items, with a few more sickeningly sweet candy items thrown in for good measure. Enough sugar for a whole summer's worth of girl scout group midnight feasts and more :)

This place just smelled delicious the minute you walked in, like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory! The candy here is just amazing - the stuff in the fridges looked awesome. I however, was here for the make your own candy!!

For those of you who have never been here before, you get to choose an item e.g. marshmallows, pretzel sticks, rice krispie treat, apple, gingerbread cookie and dipped fudge cookie, and then you get to choose your toppings from those offered! You pick up a little form from the counter, put your name on it, and tick the toppings off which you want on your item. Hand it in at the counter, drool over them making it, and wait til they call your name out when it's done. Voila, said sickeningly sweet treat is done.

Instructions and prices

If you're on DDP, this counts as a snack credit - cool, huh?! All except for the apple I think.

Right, let's get to business. I watched them do a couple first as I decided what I wanted:

img7909cm5.jpg

I chose the Marshmallow Treat since it also came with a 'free' Mickey straw that you can then keep and use (plus a real bargain at $2.25!).

First, I chose to have it coated in dark chocolate. I LOVES me some dark chocolate! Next, I got it covered half in dark&white mini chocolate chips and half in crushed reese's peanut butter cups. Then, drizzled with caramel and milk chocolate sauce.

Here they are making it:

img7916ad3.jpg

Bathing in a sea of chocolate chips! This one actually went a bit wrong as it was only supposed to be 1/2 chocolate chips. She threw it in the trash and started again (I'll have that too if it's going!!)

img7917zw6.jpg

Half covered properly before going in the PB Cups! You can see some of the other toppings :)

They then leave it in the fridge to set slightly for around a good 5-10mins... leaving you to ponder around the shop thinking what other lovely treats can you buy. Luckily we'd just had lunch so I didn't feel the need to get anything else and was getting this for later.

The final result, back at ASMo:

This was SO, SO good! And huge!! It took me 3 days to eat the thing since it was so big and so sweet. To be honest, I thought it would taste awful since I went a bit mad over the toppings, but it totally hit the spot and every day I would take a few munches at night! Plus the straw was really cute!!

Atmosphere: Cute little store and a great idea! Every kind of candy you could think of - I also bought lollipops for my cousins in here. Love the jellybean wallart!!
img7918copykh5.jpg

Overall: The candy here is great and tastes amazing... you can make it to your own taste.

H RATING: 9/10
E RATING: Didn't get anything here!
WILL WE EAT HERE AGAIN? Yes! We certainly plan to make a visit! I plan on getting exactly the same thing, and Els is going to have something this time too!

What are your plans for Aug 21st onwards? :)
We're off shopping on the 21st , 22nd TL & MK eating at 1900 PF, 23rd MK & Epcot eating at O'Hana's for late brekkie then Biergarten with about 50 DISers!!!!! 24th AK eating at B&C, 25th BB then Narcoossee's, 26th not sure which park but eating at WCC, 27th Epcot and LeCellier then we go home on the 28th :sad1:

Get a sickeningly sweet candy item, drown it in even more sickeningly sweet candy items, with a few more sickeningly sweet candy items thrown in for good measure.
It's heaven in there isn't it  :rotfl2:

Sorry to say that work has gotten in the way of my keeping up with your reviews, that and the fact that one of my DS (twin 1) managed to crash the entire computer. :badpc:  Thankfully it only took DH three days and many hours :headache: on the phone with Dell's tech support to get it up and running again. :cool1:

I see you made your ADRs, cool. I was actually wondering if you got the DxDDP but saw your later post that you did not. You have some great meals ahead of you my dear. You will need a separate camera just to capture all the food porn.

WPE and Goofy's Candy look amazing!! We've never been to WPE but we have eaten in the restaurant twice, both times were good. As for Goofy's Candy, seeing as I have three boys, I think I've avoided it on purpose. :rotfl: They really don't need any extra sugar to get them going but, I think we will hit it this year, I really like the idea of making my own apple.

So, anything left in your bag from last year? You better get moving, it will soon be time to start the new ones. :lmao:
