First thing I will say is the Dinning plan is the only way to go!!!!! We ate so much more then we ever would have and ate at places normally wouldn't have. And we had left over cs and 1 ts left over.
First night we went to DTD for dinner, way to busy every place was an hour and half to 2+ hour wait but we did get into Portabello's. I didn't like it but DH did, and we got stuck at an out side table and it was to hot to sit out side, I wasn't happy with the whole thing.
Sunday we ate at Sci-Fi drive in for lunch. We loved sitting in the cars watching the movie, DS's 4 and 6 loved it. The ribs were OK, Hamburger was good and the kids Mac and cheese was huge the kids shared it. I loved the chocolate shakes.
Monday we had breakfast at AK @ Donald's Breakfastasaurus it was the best breakfast we had all week, I give it a big thumps up. The characters were great too. We will do this one again for sure.
Tuesday we ate @ Crystal Palace for lunch. It was good. My son has a special diet and they bent over backwards to help us out. The character was awesome, well Tigger is my favorite.
Wednesday we ate at The Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge for dinner. The food was great but as soon as our server learned we were on the DDP we got no attention from him I wasn't happy with the serve at all.
Thursday we ate at Chef Mickey's. It was good. But the characters get an A+ from me. DS 4 didn't like the characters and Chip and Dale were great with him he started to warm up to them, I was so happy with them. And I loved the family picture they took before breakfast.
Thursday night we ate at Liberty Tree Tavern, The food was great and the characters were too, I give this place an A+ too. We must have had the characters at our table about 4 times each and they did great with my son too. We will go back again next time.
Friday for lunch we ate at Garden Grill at Epcot. It was very good. And they characters get an A++. My DS was still a little afraid of the character so the CM that was going around with Mickey came over and sat with him, she give him a magical pin that she got from Mickey and every time he got afraid he was to rub the pin and he would feel the magic and he would like the characters and you know what it worked! I thought that was so magical of the CM and then all the characters came over and made a big deal of him and he got his picture taken with all the characters that meal.
We ate at the food court at the Pop a lot and we like it a lot and a good choose of foods. The hot dogs were huge the kids split them more then once. I'm feeling so full again just reliving it. We had ADR for all our TS and that's the way to go. You must make ADR. Nancy

What a great meal review!! Thanks so much. We have ADR's in early Oct. for many of the places that you went to. We have LTT but for lunch, CP for breakfast and Sci-Fi for dinner. The kids are 18 and 19 so characters are not a big issue. However, they are very picky eaters - mainly like chicken, pasta and desserts! Do you think it would be possible to order the kids mac and cheese at Sci-Fi? Would it be big enough?
Also, I am trying to decide on one more ADR on the day we are going to SeaWorld. I was thinking about WCC but I have heard a few negative things about it (we would order dinner off menu, not skillet). Now I am thinking perhaps Chef Mickey's. Which would you suggest? We cannot go to a park that day for dinner. Thanks so much. :dance3: :dance3:

Thanks for sharing your trip report. It sounds like you had a wonderful time!

Thanks for sharing your reviews. I'm planning to try both Garden Grill and Liberty Tree Tavern on my next trip, glad you enjoyed them. :sunny:

Oh, this is SO sweet...it made me tear up! My kids are teens now, but when DD was five she was very wary of every character except Minnie, so this would have done wonders for her, also!

You already have a character meal with the CP breakfast; would your teens really enjoy another one? I know my kids (20, 17, 14) would rather have a nice meal at a place like the Concourse Steakhouse, the Yachtsman's Steakhouse, or Boma. One place that is not really a character meal but does have some fun family interaction is O'Hana's. Ask the kids what they would prefer!

Thanks for the reviews. It sounds like you had a great time. I know if we got the DDP plan it would be too much food. We don't eat desserts or appetizers much. DH and I will eat soup occasionally and we usually only have desserts if we do the buffets. We are usually stuffed.

Thanks for your reviews! Do you remember who your server at WCC was? I will be there in Sept on the DDP and I hope we don't have him as a server.

Wonderful reviews!! You went to a few places we will be doing first time come here in Aug... Love to hear comments about them so I can see what I could possibly expect...

It's a shame a gal who started a thread over on the Resorts Board didn't read this! Thanks for your review. :)
