EXciting things came today!!! We recieved our confirmation letter for our reservation at BWV on may25-30!! I just have one question for all experts--Will a one bedroom preferred view overlook the boardwalk?? If not what are the other options??

A couple hours after the mail came the Fed Ex man came walking up my driveway with my packet!! All papers are signed and ready to be sent out tomorrow!! Was very excited to read the handbook!! Also surprised at the lovely print and backpack!!

Just glad to have somewhere to share my excitement!!!

Cant wait till everything is "recorded" and it all becomes official!!

Congratulations panfan and Welcome Home. We will be at BWV right after you, June 2-15. A one bedroom perferred view is not always a view of the Boardwalk. There are only a few rooms that overlook the Boardwalk and people request those early. This does not mean you won't get one of these, but I would not count on it. Other perferred views are: Luna Park pool, the quite pool, the canal going to MGM and basically anything that is not overlooking the parking lot and entrance. Hope you have a great time at your new "Home Away from Home":)

It's not too late to call MS and ask to have your requests noted on the reservation. Rooms are not assigned until 3 or 4 days ahead of arrival. I would recommend that you at least call and request smoking/no smoking (if you haven't already). As noted above, requests are never guaranteed and it seems that a view of the Boardwalk is the most frequently requested view. IMHO, each of the possibilities has its own set of pros and cons. We've never had a bad room yet. Good luck!

Enjoy your trip!
