We are "LIVE" from the Magic 1-4-05

Happy Anniversary Verandah Man!!! Thanks you soooo much for posting about your cruise, its making me even MORE excited for our upcoming cruise.

Thanks to everyone who has posted about their trip. I have really enjoyed reading about your experiences.

Freezing my butt off here in Jersey... BRRRRRR

It was in the lower 80's on CC yesterday and mainly sunny, except for a very brief shower. Today we are in the upper 70's and very sunny.

The seas have been quite calm after the first evening. The last three days have been so calm, if I didn't know I was on the ship, I'd sware we were on dry land.

Hazel is busy packing our suitcases and she kicked me out of the cabin. So here I am again, LOL!!!

Hazel and I will be going to see Disney Dreams at 6:30 this evening. As of right now, my bid is still the only one for the Ducky Williams litho.

Bye for now,

Andy

Andy-
Good luck on the litho! Here's some pixie dust your way that you get it! :wizard:

We had a message on our cabin phone when we arrived back from the beach. Hazel and I have been invited to the ship's bridge at 4:45pm this afternoon to watch the Magic sail away from CC. I guess you know where we will be later this afternoon after we get showers and put on some nice clean duds!!!

It couldn't happen to a nicer fellow! Looking forward to seeing your pictures of the experience, Andy.

Hi everyone.

Our day at sea has been wonderful. The weather is perfect - about 80-and the seas are very calm. You do not even feel the boat rocking.
Last night was the pirate show with fireworks-AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
We got there very early to get right up front. We were the first ones there. As the show started DS kept saying he was really tired. He fell asleep standing up( he is 3.5). We laid him down right in front of our feet. He was fast asleep using my pocetbook as a pillow. He was nuzzeled between our feet and the front stage. He slept through the entire party. No one could believe he was sleeping. All the CM's said they have never seen that before. We felt so bad when he woke up this am and said" lets go to the pirate party"
He was crying that he missed it-SO that means we are going to book another cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We just have to figure out the dates. We would love to do a 7 day. It has been such an amazing trip for our family. The weather was a true blessing. Disney Cruising is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Time to go get ready to see our children in the show.

Sounds like you are having a great cruise! Wish were there with you again. Can't wait for a big report when you get back - especially about your adventure on the bridge!

 You probably won't remember me, but I was called Incharge. I can't find my old account. Illness has kept me away.My daughter, grandson and I cruised on the Magic Sept. 6, 2003. I wanted to stop by to tell you all how happy I am to see that you are cruising right now. Sounds like you are having a wonderful time, and I am happy for you. You deserve this Andy, for all you do for others. Say hi to Hazel for me. Happy Anniversary! Gloria :D

Goodl luck on the litho Andy! Congradulations on your anniversary and what a great memory for you and Hazel to be able to say you blew the horn! I always enjoy your posts - but who sends you a postcard when you are getting ready to set sail? Ours is still on our refridge - kids aren't ready for me to put it in the scrap book. Safe trip home to both of you (and all the rest of the DISer's who have been kind enough to share their cruise with us.

Andy--My wife Donna, daughter "Pixie Dust519", daughter Ashley, and MIL Joan are on wih you--you may have met them Tuesday evening. Tell them if you see them before tomorrow, its snow and ice at home. Enjoy the rest of the cruise-always enjoy your posts. AppleGuy Gary

What an "AWESOME" time Hazel and I had this afternoon. It was a once in a lifetime experience for us, and I'm glad we had our camera with us. At 4:45 we met with Captain Thord on the bridge. Not only did we get our photo taken with him in the bridge, but Hazel and I both got to push the button to sound the ship's horn as we were pulling away from CC today. Pictures will follow after our return to land. I still have chills thinking about it. Thanks Captain Thord for this "MAGICal" experience!!!

I am so glad that you got to have this experience. You really deserve it! You are so willing to share the "Magic" and on a personal note I reallt appreciate the fact that you were so generous in helping me out during your precious vacation time!

Oh Verandahman! What an awesome experience! I am so happy for you. I know you have given so much of yourself to others and you absolutely deserved that experience!!! WOW!!!!

Here's something for you:

Happy Anniversary, Verandahman! What a great opportunity - on the bridge with the captain, blowing the horn. A great anniversary cruise memory :D Best wishes on the litho :wizard:

I just love reading these posts from the ship!

This four day MAGICal journey is coming to an end. We just docked back at Port Canaveral a few minutes ago, now it's back to the real world. I missed out on the litho by Ducky Williams, but that's O.K., because what I received from this cruise, "NO ONE" can take away. It's those precious memories that will last me a lifetime, and I got to share it with the most WONDERful woman in the world, my bride of 30 years!!!

Thank you all for being a part of this trip!!!

Andy

This has been, without a doubt, the most MAGICal cruise ever for Hazel and I!!!

Gosh Andy, you are making me cry!!! What a great attitude! Obviously the litho wasn't meant to be. But, having a wonderful spouse is something to behold, especially after all the years you've had together. And, your beautiful daughter to boot!!!

I am glad you had such a wonderful cruise......I cannot wait to see the pictures and read the report. I have enjoyed "living through your cruise"! Thanks for the posts!
