We just put an offer on another 150 pt contract at VWL! If it passes we will be at 450 pts (300 at AKL, and 150 at VWL)! Seems like we will be right behind DVC Mike! hahaha

Anyone have any idea how long it takes to get the paperwork from TTS? The current owner accepted our offer hours ago and I haven't gotten the paperwork yet? I am getting too antsy about this or what! How am I gonna make it through ROFR?

Can I possibly ask the current owners to make a ressie for us for Dec? Or will they get cancelled with the contract gets transferred to us?

I can't answer the question regarding TTS because we bought through GMAC, but we got our paperwork the next day via e-mail.

As for the other question, the current owners cannot make a reservation for you. Anything that's booked will be cancelled at the time of the transfer. The only think you can have them do is bank the points if you choose to do that.

We are looking at getting a few extra 150 or 200 at Vero. That would be added to your 500 already (350 BC and 150 SSr)

So we know the feeling...I have to make sure we have a number divided by 4 so when we go (die) the kids get a fare share....

I'm insane with you! I started with 160 AKV points last May and I now have 340 points at AKV. Also, I am staying at BWV and BCV in December so that I can figure out if I want to do an add-on at one of them!

We have to sell our SSR points (bringing us down to 300 from 465 now) and got an offer today. The TTS emailed me the paperwork and I signed and returned it within the hour. We bought 150 BWV points through them and it took a really long time because the sellers were an elderly couple in the middle of a divorce, with one of them in a nursing home. Aside from ROFR, it's all about how fast the other party turns the paperwork around.

That being said I believe my wife has blocked Disney's number from our phone and has cancelled our long distance service

We started at 160 points last March and now have 400. I dont see the problem

I am getting such a kick out of "shortypots" excitement! It really makes my day and somehow makes me feel like I am nearly normal - or at least comforted that there are others just like me out there. I bought 225 at AKV in March, added 160 at SSR in April and another 100 at SSR in May.

I just hope there is an end in sight - my savings are taking a real beating. Oh, well, it is so exciting - who cares.

Keep up the excitement "shortypots" -- I just love reading about it.

I personally hope that shortypots gets it under control or she will put me (her DH) into the poor house. Hounding me for 5 years to get off the stick and give DVC a try I had no idea the animal I was unleashing... But I'm sure I will love the vacations in the end just not sure now when I will find time to work with all these points to be used!

As soon as we got back he was looking at the resale boards! 2 trips to Disneyworld as "adults" and he is as hooked as I am! Wouldn't surprise me if we add on more points when we are there in Oct or Nov/Dec. We'll have to see how the BLT looks. I think DH was right though, I am definitely stirring the pot now! hahaha

BTW, I don't think I was ever sane to begin with, but I LOVE DVC!!! HAHAHA

I am just disappointed that our first points trip won't be until next year although, we are going back on (hopefully) 2 II exchanges in Oct (already got it) and Nov/Dec (trying to get it).
