We are in Orange County this week

We want to go to DL for just one day, see the Christmas decorations, sites, etc. Rides are not terribly important--I just like being there.

So, our DS is off today, we could spend the day today, and have DS and DIL with us.

We could take DS to work tomorrow and use his car and then DH and I spend the day there tomorrow.

We could wait until Thursday when DS is off again and go with him, but DIL will be working.

I don't know that any day is better than the other. Like I said, want to see the decorations, do want to ride TLM and Indiana Jones, maybe eat at the new place in DCA that is back in the back that everyone says is so good. Want to stroll thru the Grand Californian, and do a little shopping. Other than that, not worried about much else.

It might get busier later in the week since out-of-towners here for the Rose Parade will tend to arrive later. The place will be busy all week, but you might see outright closures as you get closer to New Year's Day. Today (Monday) or tomorrow would be my recommendation.

We went today. It was packed, but I finally saw DL decorated for Christmas. We didn't do a lot, but saw the reindeer, a handsome Santa, lunch at Carnation Cafe, saw TLM, dinner at Naples. Even Monsters, Inc had a 30 minute wait.

After seeing how beautiful the lobby of the Grand was for Christine Agulera on the Disney Christmas show, we went thru there to check it out and it was almost all gone, such a disappointment.
