Well we arrived around 8pm local time yesterday, our first time indirect and our first flying with United, both really exceeded my expectations. United staff were excellent and so attentive, and when they found out that it was our anniversary one of the stewardesses bought us both a warm cookie from first class.

We changed at Newark, with a three hour and five minute lay over, wow off the plane and through immigration within 15 - 20 minutes of landing, we could not believe it, it took twice as long and more before any luggage to come to the carousel. Some Brits who had not left much time between flights missed their connection. After getting rid of our luggage and clearing security again - had a problem with full body scanner as I can't raise my right arm above my head because of a rotator cuff injury and interrogated over my compression bandages, we headed for dunkin donuts for a key lime donut and a coffee, our following flight landed early and it was a breeze just to walk through airport, DH waited for luggage and I did paperwork for the car, he doesnot 'drive so this made life easier, when we went to the garage they had no int. SUV available so got a premium with leather seats and parking camera it's great.

Not so great been Awake since 3 am, so hit Walmart and had breakfast and now sitting having a cappuccino grande with cinnamon - delish mmmmmm
