I decided to take the time to upload my videos to youtube. I think for the bad quality and time it takes on photobucket, it's better to put them on youtube, like I did before.

Sunday - July 18 - Sunny - 95F

Today was the day. I did sleep well. I had asked to be woken up around 4h30am. But no one needed to wake me up. By 4h20am I was awake. I guess that my body figured it could rest later.

We finished packing, and made sure the house was ok. We had our neighboors watch the house. They were also in charge of the mail. Our Timon was put into a kennel. Well it's a home-based kennel. The lady teaches horseback riding and lives on a farm. She also takes care of cats and dog. If I remember correctly she can keep 6-7 cats at a time, no more. So we drove him to the kennel the day before.

We left home at around 5 am, and got to the airport around 5h45am. We got in line, and went to the airline lady. She was rude at first. She was pissed that I didn't do the online check-in and print our boarding passes. She said the guys near the printers were supposed to show people how to do it, but since they were new they did not. But she soon realised that I at least had entered our information online and she became nicer. She talked to us about WDW, and how maybe her daughter wanted to bring her family there.

We soon realised that the airport had made improvements. The new terminal was nice. You didn't go to customs before leaving your luggage. You left your luggage right behind the kiosks. They had this little elevator for bags. The man handling the bags was really friendly.

We then made it through security without a hitch. The customs officers was nice. They take pictures of your luggage now. She showed me all the suitcases and asked me if they were ours.

We made our way to the gate, and on the way grabbed breakfast at Starbucks.

We boarded at 8h40am, but left a few minutes late. Some people always take an eternity to sit down. So we all have to wait for them. After all, aren't they more important than us?

The flight went well. There was light turbulence, but nothing bad. I've seen worse. I watched "Date Night" with Tina Fey and Steve Carell and really enjoyed it. I actually laughed out loud a few times. Which I rarely do during movies.

We got to MCO on schedule.

As I was walking to the fake monorail, I saw a guy. I kept thinking "where do I know him from?". Well I was thinking either "So You Think You Can Dance" or "America's Best Dance Crew". Well he was on both. It was "Hok" from SYTYCD season 3.

I didn't stop him as I was too shy.

We took the fake monorail and went to the DME buses. Our line was short, and we were soon on a bus. The bus was almost full when we got in, so we knew we'd leave soon.

The thing is, we were the last resort to be let off. So we made our way to the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge and finally the Contemporary.

We got to the Contemporary at 1h40pm. We were glad to be there, and even happier that I did the online check-in. Our folder was pulled out, asked if we had any questions, and we were off.

We had room 4228 on the 6th floor. Right on top of the monorail, and on "Chef Mickey's" side. Last year, we had room 4226. So we knew we'd like it.

We had a better view of the castle, as we were closer than last year.

Here are the views we had.
