Can you tell I am JUST A BIT EXCITED??!!!! WE WERE GOING to skip the big annual summer trip this year. Instead we were going to go to HHI for 6 nights in July. Then we had tentatively planned a long weekend in Oct. (not sure about that one right now) However.... I think the fact that we didn't go this past Nov. and Jan. made us miss Disney more than we thought. We have been going in Jan. and Nov. for quite a while.

Our dd 19 and ds 11 have been talking Disney for months wanting to go back this summer. Well when I stumbled upon the news that the Main Street Electrical Parade was back for the summer. THAT WAS IT. That was all it took. Even ds 16 was on board as long as we DROVE instead of flying and he got to go to Wet and Wild or Aquatica. He swore last summer he was DONE for a while. We had made 8 trips between Jan. 07 and July 09 and he was DISNEY DONE. So I said "Let's try HHI instead for our summer vacation." So when I showed him Vero online and ACTUALLY GOT 4 NIGHTS...HE SAID "WHY are we only staying there 4 nights?"

I JUST LOVE DVCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC!!!!!!

And I LOVE reading about how excited you get for the trips that you don't make as well as about the trips you do make!!!!!

We're going to be there for the electrical light parade as well, and that's something we hadn't planned on. It's the 4th of July fireworks that are getting us there during the summer! (Vero beach too...4 nights there for us, too!)

If this is true, there is No way we can miss this summer's trip now. My 12yo son loves the music and I keep telling him how much more I loved it back in 1976 than the current Spectromagic Parade. I'd be cool if they add back on the old intro, but not required.

Currently have July 7th (1 nt @ BLT) to the 14th (VWL) scheduled, but if I'm still out of work, and I pray not, we'll be driving verses flying and might extend it a few nights on the backside. Our APs expire on the 15th though.
