We are going to have MK photo-shoot!

so tell me, what to expect!?! we are both really looking forward to this.. janet is coming SO early, we wanted to do it on wedding day..decided to use periwigs for later in afternoon. going to look for pics right now for ideas!

You are so lucky to be having the MK shoot! I bet your pictures will be amazing We thought about doing it but I couldn't bear to spend so much money and DF would be such a baby about getting up so early to have pictures taken! Congratulations!

Kwalls, what to expect? Well, you get up early (very early!) and are taken inside the theme park to a couple locations for photos (castle -- outside & inside, carousel, etc.). The Disney photographers have this photo session down to a science, so you'll be in and out in under an hour. It goes very quickly. But it is a lot of fun and quite memorable. I'm sure you're going to enjoy it (I know that I did).

All I can say is you won't regret it!

Of our entire trip, that was the most memorable thing other than the ceremony itself!

We loved Ty, our photographer, and he was more than accomodating to our Haunted Mansion shots, even letting us get a little silly.

I used Janet Mednick for my hair and makeup as well, if that is the same Janet you're using, she is GREAT! I just told her a general idea, and she got everything perfect on the first try! She was also a absolute pleasure to talk with!

i just booked it last week and ceremony is in feb. just ask your floral/photo person-rosie is mine. i know it doesn't have to be on your day and they do them at 5 and 6 (a.m.!)

We booked ours when we signed our contract and ours is two days after the wedding

Congrats! Definitely you need to think ahead , what spots around castle you like to take more photos . Also Some people like to shoot it when the castle is light up and the sky is dark wheresa we prefer to do it in daylight.

Disney photography provided two photo session time slots (5:30/ 6:30 am) we could choose from. I remember when our Disney photographer picked us up from the hotel at 6 am and drove us to the MK theme park , by the time we arrived at the castle, the sky's still dark, but I told the photographer, let's take photos inside the castle first, this way,the sky was brighter by the time we take exterior castle photos.
You can make a few suggestions but don't expect the photographer to do every single thing you asked, because she/he wants to get out the park before the theme park opens to the public. The entire session took only 1 hour.
