Hello All and welcome to my first pre trip report.

I need to confess that this trip report is my way of dealing with the begninning of my second trimester of my first pregnancy and the fact that my next Disneyworld vacation is over 9 months away.

Cast of Characters: Me  31 year old Disney nut currently working as a supervisor at a foster care agency. I am originally from Oregon however my Australian husband somehow got me to move to Australia and we have been here for four years. I REALLY MISS THE USA!!!

DH - 31 year old who likes Disney but basically puts up with his wifes Disney obsession because he loves me. DH currently works at a building company as a business manager and is also currently studying for his MBA. DH is 6'6" and built very big which I love!!!! While he can present as intimidating to some he is such a softy on the inside.

DM - 57 year old grandmother of 4 soon to be 5. My mom has been to DL ten times but this will be her first trip to DW. My mom loves to control situations so this should be interesting as I am the only one who can tell her no and get away with it. I am really excited to share my favorite place with her and the rest of my family. When my parents go on vacation they stay in motel 6's and eat as cheap as possible so this will be a different kind of vacation for them.

DF - 64 year old grandfather of 10 soon to be 11. My father has not been to DW but has gone to DL 5 times. My dad is hilarious on vacations at Disney he starts out the first few days a little nervous and cranky because he is not in his comfort zone. However once you get him in the parks he reverts to a ten year old boy and we all struggle to keep up with him.

DN- 12 year old neice who has not had the easiest life. I will not go into that because that is her story to tell. Her life has caused her to grow up too fast and miss some of the magic of being a child. She is also very parentified and acts like a mother to her younger siblings. I really want this trip to be special for her and for her to be able to recapture some of the magic she missed out on in her younger years. It will also be her birthday while we are there which should help with some of that pixie dust. We did take DN12 to Disneyland last year but her entire family came as well so she was not allowed to really enjoy herself.

DN - 4 year old neice who is adored by all that meet her. She is one of those kids with a great personality to go with her cuteness. She is also a really easy going kid who does not throw tantrums and who loves to be around adults as much as she likes to be around children. We took DN4 to DL last year as well and she was an angel she also loves all the rides and was not scared by anything even Goofy. DN4 continues to not have a great life and will possibly start to live with my parents. My poor girls really need this trip to be magical.

DB - We will also have our newest addition for our next trip. Our baby is due August 11th and our trip is planned to begin December. We are somewhat nervous about taking this trip with a new baby as first time parents but we are going for about 2 weeks and we should be able to take things slow.

I am partly writing this pre-trip report because I am hoping for heaps of advice on how to make this trip truly magical for my neices.

Thank you for reading my pre-trip report. To be continued later in between morning sickness.
