Sorry to hear about your poor experience at Cape May. We love it there & have never had a bad experience. We eat dinner there on our trips every year. We just tried breakfast there last month & it was great! The food was hot & delicious & the character were a lot of fun. We won't hesitate to return in January when we go back down.

On a side note - my MIL & family had a very poor dinner experience here back in April. (It was Easter week - so everything was a bit crazy.) They aren't sure they'll return now - we considered not going last month after their poor experience, but were very glad we went ahead with our plans. It sounds like if they have a bad day, it's really a bad day.

We had problems at Cape May too! We not only had a server who disappeared, the children in the restaurant were out of control. A small child was up at the buffet filling her plate up and then dumping it into another food container on the buffet. No parents around and no staff did anything about it even though they watched her do it several times. I ordered toast and it took 25 min. and was ice cold when delivered. The food wasn't anything special--much better at 1900 Park Fare. The characters were hard to find and seemed not in the mood for pictures. Chalk it up to experience--we won't go back their. Beaches & Cream is another story--never a bad meal!!
