We are heading down for 11 nights at the POLY and we are getting the delixe plan. Besides my wife and I our little critters will be with us (4 & 2).
We will take full advantage of characters meals but can you give some suggestions for kid "friendlier" signature restaurants????
We will also do Sci Fi, Le Cellier, San Angel, LTT.
Also, good spots for breakfast???
Thanks
:goodvibes

breakfast=Kona in Poly is fab, and Goofys breakfast in the Beach club is perfect for all your girls!:rotfl: Minnie in her swimsuit is darling!

as for kid friendly table service, Beach club cape may clambake buffet is wonderful and casual as well as delish;)(no characters at dinner)

We found Narcoossee's to be very accomodating for "critters". There is a deck right outside overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon, so if someone need a moment or a timeout you have a place. ;)

Breakfast:
Boma will offer std and unique items and is neat place to take the little ones for a look around the savannah's.
Many like Kona or 'Ohanas at the Poly (I have no first hand experience).
The character meals all seem to get breakfast "right".
Again, no firsthand experience, but he breakfast menu at the Grand Floridian cafe has some unique items and the reviews always seem to be very complimentary.

We took our then, almost 2 year old and 8 year old to California Grille, we were not looked down upon, but I must say, IMO, people, relax, you're at Disney, there's bound to be kids!!! If you didn't want to see kids, you should've opted for an adult only resort, not near a major "theme park".

We hit the Cal. Grill in October and it didn't seem too uppity. We were there only with our 3 yr old (then). We may go again but I do like the Narcoossee suggestion.
Any others???
Thanks guys

All of the signatures are kid friendly to a point; it is Disney, after all. They all have kids' menus, and there are always kids there. Flying Fish might be a good choice, b/c the decor there is very fun and whimsical.

I agree that all the signature restaurants that participate in the dining plans are fine for children. All of them are accustomed to children. I'd pick by menu and your plans for the day.

When ours were young, we preferred dining earlier. That way our children weren't too hungry or tired. We could also get them to bed on time which made the whole vacation more pleasant. The restaurants are quieter then which helps if any of your children are sensitive to noise. And there is usually no wait for a table.

Kona is a great suggestion especially since you'll be at the Polynesian. It is really good for all three meals.:thumbsup2

Marrakesh is a hoot. The belly dancer gets the kids to dance with her. With the band and all, it keeps them entertained.
