We got back late last night, and I will try and write a trip report as soon as I have the energy!
Highs:
The weather- was lovely every day bar one morning.
Walt's- we had a lovely meal here and it was great value for money.
Free buffets at Chuck's Wagon and Agrabah for my 3 year old dd- I didn't ask, they just didn't charge me!
Santa Fe- the referbed rooms are nice and clean. We had ants, but it was ok. They also left water and chocolate coins as it was the dds' birthdays.
New rides- (for us!
) We finally managed to try Buzz, and boy did we love it! We did it every day! We also went on Casey Jnr, Molly Brown steam boat, Armageddon, Cinemagique, Slinky dog,
dd2 finally had the courage to meet the characters- on her 4th trip
Lows:
Eurostar. I have just commented on another thread, but it totally ruined our holiday
It might have been due to being 5 months pregnant and traveling with 2 little ones, a buggy and 4 pieces of luggage (we were staying for 5 days), but changing at Lille was a nightmare. We were delayed by half an hour and we literally had 2 minutes to get to our next train. As we got on, dd (aged 3) fell on the steps, and still the couple behind continued to throw their luggage on (on top of dd).
On the way home, it was no better, a real struggle and I was amazed noone helped AT ALL.
Blue Lagoon- I was so looking forward to eating here, but the food was only just ok, the children's food was not served as described on the menu and I found it too dark to enjoy- I like to be able to see the colour of my food before I eat it
Inventions- not the restaurant and food, that was fine (although I think we didn't do the buffet justice, bearing in mind the price.) But there was a family who allowed their boys to run around and fight the entire meal. I lost count of how many times they bashed into my chair, elbowed me in the side etc. The mother was walking around feeding them mouthfuls of food, rather than making them sit down. They looked about 7 and 8 years old!!
