POST TRIP REPORT WOOOHOOOO

Day 1 Part 1(The 8 hour drive)

Well we got out of the house around 9:30 and started our way to WDW.We made it without any hitches. I can tell you though it is tough driving that long with a 6 month old. About 2 hours into the trip I look in the back seat and see my wife
Picture237.jpg

She had to work the night before 6pm-6am so when she got home , she took a shower basically and we left. So as I am driving alone lol I see this sign
Picture238.jpg

Woohoo getting close:cool1:
So about this time we have stop about 6 times lol and we finally make it

.

Checking in only took about 5 minutes, the staff was very friendly. When we made it to the counter my DW asked about maybe an upgrade lol she then tried to charge us $80 so we declined lol. She did give us our "It's our first trip to WDW pins". We ended up in the eighties building on the first floor. So we arrived safely and the trip was turning out to be great.................or was it?!?!?!?!

I have planty of pics and a lot to share, I know this is short but I am tired and going to bed Night all:surfweb:

Yeah, You did an update and on the day you returned, you are really becoming a True Diser... You are going to make Leger so proud:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Poor DW...she must have been exhausted:goodvibes

Great pics!! I Love the pic of Welcome to Disney World Sign, classic photo on all good reports:thumbsup2

Yeah, you left us with a cliffhanger...can't wait to see what happens next

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Does your DW know you put that picture of her sleeping in the back seat up here :lmao:

and how in the world did you take a picture of her in the back seat while you were driving :scared1:

Day 1 (Part2)

Well we left off with us checking in. We get to the room, and saw that is was 2 double beds, when booking my trip I requested a king. So I made one call and about 5 minutes later a cast member showed up at our door with 2 new room keys. All is well so far:)

We get to our new room, everyone looks great. We quickly un-pack some of our stuff and take a shower and get ready to head to the MK. We decided to try out the bus service, it went pretty good, kinda tough with a big stroller. We make it to the MK at about 8:10.......ok think about this...this was the WORST time to arrive at the MK lol the parade was going on and Dreams was about to start. We head to The Liberty Tree Tavern where I THOUGHT our first dinner reservation was lol:confused: We made it through the crowd only losing my wife once lol. We are so happy we finally made it, I walk up to the hostess lady and tell her our last name........................nothing............I made a mistake. She told me our reservations were for Tony's Town Square:crazy2: So I asked here if there was anyway we could eat there, she said no they were booked.

Ok so by this time it was 8:55 we booked our way back to the front of the park where Tony's is, we finally make it around 9:05. I walk in and ask if were are too late, he said "Sorry, we just closed":headache: So we laugh it off and get back on the Pop Century bus, we get back to the Days inn....I mean The "Resort" and eat some hamburgers with our CS vouchers. By this time we were exhausted, upset, and kinda scared about the crowds.

Stayed tuned for the next day....where did we go, what did we do?!?!?!!? How did I cut my finger off and end up in the hospital......

okay, I already knew about the ADR mix up but I haven't heard about the hospital trip. What in the world happened!? :sad2: maybe you guys should have waited for your first time to WDW to be with your "guides" :lmao: j/k.

Day 2 (Part 1)

Well we left off saturday going to bed after a horrible experience in the MK. It is then my wife and I decided we just need to relax and have a nice vacation. There is no need stessing over the small stuff. So we went to bed and set a wake up call for 7:15 in the morning.

Time to wake up everyone!!!! We get up and feed the baby, then get some showers and get ready for our first full day in WDW. We went to Epcot:banana: We missed the rope drop but got there around 9:05.
Picture242.jpg

What a beautiful sight. I remember is very little when I went when I was 4 lol. The first thing we did was head to Test Track, I rode it, and loved it, the single rider option +the baby swap really helps out. The first time I only waited about 3 minutes.
Picture244.jpg

While I was riding it, I sent the baby and the wife to "The Land" to get FP's for soarin. When test track was over I met up with the wifey and baby again.
We then headed to Imagination, and rode that ride.
Picture245.jpg

This was the only ride, the whole week, that scared Landon, but in the end I think he liked it and we got to take a pic with figment
Picture247.jpg

We then headed over to the Honey I shrunk the kids, but read that it was scary for children so we decided against it. By this time it was time to return to ride soarin. Ok a little tip we ended up riding soarin 4 times that day, twice a peice. You get 2 FP's with your tickets, then when you go up to us your FP's get a baby swap, then when I was done, my wife used her FP and got another baby swap, so there that is how we rode it 4 times. This ride is AWESOME, definitly my favorite. I am terrified of heights but this one did not bother me at all.

We decided we wanted to ride the Finding Nemo ride, once again the wait was only about 10 minutes, what took so long was the winding(sp) line, my gosh talk about a long walk lol. This ride was cute, we then stuck around for Turtle talk with crush. I loved this, so I am sure all the kids did. Parents this is a must for your children.

Anyway by this time it was about noon, so we decided to start walking around the world.........stay tuned to find out what else we did, and where we ate:thumbsup2

Thanks guys

:lmao: yeah, just me and trentmom. Go pimp your TR on other threads.

you want to start a Pre-TR so soon for Sept? I figured I'd wait until i was done with my TR for this time before I started a Pre-TR for next Sept. I can't run two at the same time and keep up with my other threads.

Plus if we start it too early there will be a lot of off topic convo and since the mods are cracking down on other topic posts lately we'll get in a lot of trouble. Soooooo, if you want to go ahead and start a pre-tr for next sept go for it. But if you want to do one together (which I think would be the best way to do it) I'd appreciate it if you wait just a lil' bit longer.

anyways, I'm getting antsy to see those pictures and hear about your trip in person so when are we getting together!?!? :rolleyes1
