Sorry I've not got around to the TR yet - I need to sort out my pics (took rather a lot!!). Thanks for the welcome back - sat and watch the videos today with DD1 and now can't get the OUAD parade song out of my head 
Karen - the DLH was fab. It did have it's pluses and minuses for us as a family but the location and therefore convenience couldn't have been better for us this time. DH said he'd stay there next time too but I'd still look around myself. It worked well having Mum & Stepdad next door (connecting rooms) but I think it would have been more of an issue if they hadn't been there and we didn't have the second room to 'retire' to
