Nice neighborhood - HUGE yard - convenient to everything - closer to my place at the lake - and not only do I get a bedroom, but two rooms off of the finished basement - one for my computer/office/ and another for crafts!!

3 garages - above ground pool - and soooo much storage space it's unbelievable.. DGD went with us and she WANTS it! Funny thing is her name begins with a "K" - we drive up and there's a big "K" on the front railing!!

Lots of people looking at it today, so keep your fingers crossed that my DD & her DH's bid is high enough..

Well the bid is in and they have until 11 p.m. tomorrow night to accept or reject it.. At least we don't have to wait days, but it's still going to be a loooooooooong time till 11 o'clock tomorrow night!!

The bid was accepted - we're going to be moving!!!

DD and her DH were so excited I thought they were going to cry.. DGD was jumping around all over the bed because now she'll have a huge yard to run around in with the dog..

I knew that "K" on the front railing was a good sign..

Now the real fun begins - getting this place whipped into shape and on the market.. Right now the closing is set for April 30th, but DD & her DH have offered to hold off till the end of the school year if need be..

That pretty much puts the brakes on my going to Florida this winter/spring - and I may get up to the lake later than usual, but it's sooooo worth it to see these guys so happy..

Funny, but when I was a kid I always used to say that when I grew up I wanted to be a "gypsy".. What's that saying? "Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it"??? Guess I'll have to go out and get some big hoop earrings, colorful head scarves, long flowing dresses, and paint my nails blood red...

Well when I moved in here, I probably got rid of 90% of my stuff.. That leaves me with 10% - what do you think I should aim for - 5%?

Not to mention if there is a "United States Post Office Most Hated List" I'm probably on it.. When I left the lake in October I had all my mail forwarded temporarily back to my own home because it wasn't sold yet.. House sold, so I had all that mail forwarded here starting Feb. 10th.. Then when I found out my car insurance would be cheaper up in the county where my seasonal place is (because I'll be there 8 months out of the year), I made that my primary address and this my temporary address.. Now when we move, I have to shift everything around again.. Pretty much explains why postal workers go "postal" huh?
