We All Want a Jar of Hunny!~A Nov. 2010 TR! *NEW October PTR 4/4, pg 42!!!*

I don't know how I missed your TRs!
I read your honeymoon one this weekend, and just finished this one today after work (what else am I supposed to do when all I can think about is going to WDW :rolleyes1 )

I absolutely loved reading about both of your trips, and am excited to follow along on your plans for October!

I love your title ideas! I think I would definitely incorporate something about the 40th anniversary! Going on Magic Kingdom's anniversary is such a rare and exciting experience, I think that should be in your title! :thumbsup2

Your souvenirs are awesome! I love your Dooney & Bourke bag! I am in love with the new 40th anniversary bags, so I might have to get one of those on my upcoming trip...we'll see! :rolleyes1

I'm so sad your TR is over! I am going to go into withdrawals! At least I have your PTR to look forward to! :goodvibes

I like the 1st title better. It seems more original.

I love the 40th anniversary Dooney bag. I was thinking about getting it this trip but I hate carrying a pocketbook and will probably never use it.

I noticed the astronaut ice cream in there. Ew, I remember you always getting that wherever they had it. I can't believe you still like it.

WOW!!! Those are some great buys!!! I honestly did not buy very much on this trip but when I'm going 3+ times a year, I guess I spread it out haha.

Can't wait for your final thoughts! I like either of the titles. I had such a hard time coming up with a title for my March TR but I won't spoil that just yet :)

I like both titles, but I like the first one a little more.

Love the Dooney bag. If you're going to spend that kind of money, you gotta love it!

I really like both PTR titles, especially the Halloween one, it just sticks in my head :thumbsup2

I love your Dooney & Burke, I am really considering buying one on our up coming trip. I completely agree with spoiling your self a little on vacation. There is nothing wrong with that.

Great souvies, Jen...I really like them.

I'm going to go with #2 for the PTR title.

We leave Saturday for our mini-Florida trip, but I should have the laptop with me so if you start your PTR, I'll be ready (post it on my TR or your TR so I know you started it).

I like the second halloween one. Great TR by the way. I love reading TRs because it shows me how much stuff I missed on our first visit last year. I really missed a ton of stuff:eek: TRs also give you great ideas for planning.

Love all the souvenirs! :thumbsup2 That mug is great, as is the Dooney bag and the rest of the purchases - hey don't worry about shopping on holiday! In my opinion it doesn't count as it's not every day you get to go to Disney World! ;)

I vote for the MK anniversary title - love that it includes that as well as having reference to the F&W festival at the same time :goodvibes

Hi everyone! Instead of commenting individually about my PTR title, I wanted to just let everyone know...that I can't stand either of those options anymore! I've been thinking about it, and I want something either more meaningful, or just a little more creative and something to do with Halloween or the Food and Wine festival. So I'll let you know what I decide, I have a few ideas, but nothing definite! I'm glad you guys liked them, but I think I can do better!

I'm finally posting on your TR! Better late than never, right?

Well, I have to say I love your souvies and I am the same way about hardly ever spending money on myself so I also feel like it's okay to splurge a little on vaca. :thumbsup2

I actually really like your Dooney bag but I also have the other two that you are interested in (My only 2!) and I love them both. I really like both of your PTR titles so I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Yay, glad you're finally here, even at the end! :goodvibes

That's right, I forgot you have both patterns of the Dooney's I like! I really like the 40th pattern, but I'm not a big fan of the styles of bags that they have...if only they had a Lucy in that pattern! If only they had a purple sketch pattern in the Lucy! I like the sketch pattern a lot, but I like the colored ones better than the white...I'm sure by the time our trips get here, they will have new ones out, which will make it even harder to decide! :rotfl:

I don't know how I missed your TRs!

Yay, thanks for reading! :cool1: I have to officially join your PTR too, I've been reading it, but I still have maybe 4 more pages to get caught up on!

Isn't the 40th anniversary pattern so cute? I love it! I don't know about the actual bags though, they all seem too big for me! :confused3 But I'd like to have one, since I will be there for the 40th and everything!

LOL, don't worry, you won't go into withdrawls!! I'll be starting my PTR in a couple of days, I think, once I figure out a title once and for all!

I don't mind pocketbooks as long as they are small enough, I hate huge ones. The Dooney I have now took some getting used to, since it's the biggest one I've ever owned, and it's still not that big, compared to some of the other ones!

Mmmmm...astronaut ice cream, I get that every time I'm in Epcot! :dance3:

LOL, yeah, if I went 3 or more times a year, I probably wouldn't buy as much! :rotfl: Although, I could have gotten a lot more, I used a lot of self control, shopping at DTD this year!

Coming up with titles for PTR's/TR's is SO difficult! :scared1:

I like both titles, but I like the first one a little more.

Love the Dooney bag. If you're going to spend that kind of money, you gotta love it!

Thanks! I love my Dooney bag, I love how different it is from the rest of them!

Exactly! Shopping in Disney World doesn't count! :rotfl: I love that mug SO much, if I ever drop it, or the paint comes off, I will probably cry! I should probably stop using it all the time! :)

I like the second halloween one. Great TR by the way. I love reading TRs because it shows me how much stuff I missed on our first visit last year. I really missed a ton of stuff:eek: TRs also give you great ideas for planning.

Thanks! I love reading TR's too, not only does it give you ideas for your next trip, but it gets you through however long you have to wait til your next trip!

I love your Dooney & Burke, I am really considering buying one on our up coming trip. I completely agree with spoiling your self a little on vacation. There is nothing wrong with that.

Thanks! You should definitely get a D&B! They are a little pricey, but totally worth it, if you love Disney! Definitely nothing wrong with getting yourself a present or two on vacation! :goodvibes

I like the Halloween title :teeth:

Thanks! I did too, for about 5 minutes! I kind of want something with a Haunted Mansion, or Tower of Terror theme...

I love the D&B that you chose! I agree with you that it's a bit more subtle. I really like that print. For a bit, I was considering getting D&B bags for my cousins since they're my bridesmaids. I was trying to narrow down patterns, and that was a possibility because it's not EXTREMELY Disney (even though they love WDW, I don't know if they'd want to have one that screams Disney when in NY!).

Honestly, I just thought of that because of Haunted Mansion :teeth:

I get it! Now that I'm thinking of classic Disney movies, I'm coming up with a lot of quotes I'd like to use in my title...and I can't decide! :rotfl: I might just write them all down on a piece of paper, close my eyes, and point to one! I'm putting way too much thought into this!

Thanks! I love that the D&B is clearly a Disney bag, without being too crazy! Those would be great presents for your bridesmaids! Have you seen the 40th anniversary wallets? Those would be cute, and they could be hidden away too, if you don't want something that screams Disney for them! :yay:

Those souvenirs are awesome!! I wish I had seen that mug in December. I'd use it all the time. That is, if I could keep Carter off it. For some reason, he seems to think that anything with a Disney character on it must be for him. :rotfl:

Cool D&B bag! It's very subtle. :thumbsup2

I think TR titles are so hard. I can never find one that quite suits me and then by a few weeks into it, I'm completely sick of my title, but it's too late to switch. I'm sure we'll all be happy whatever title you pick.

Thanks! LOL, that's so cute that Carter thinks everything Disney is his! :)

I love my D&B bag soooo much! It just makes me want a few more!

Ugh, TR/PTR titles are hard! :rotfl: I can't stand the one I have for this TR, I liked it for maybe a week and then I was over it, so I'm sure whatever I pick for October I'll end up getting sick of too! I think I've finally come to a decision, though! :yay:

And when you come to the end...stop.

*Sniff* Well, I guess it's that time, to finally wrap this TR up for good! I wasn't sure how I should go about doing my final thoughts, if I should do highlights, or a top 10 list or something...finally I decided to just end with some of the more fun things we got to do on this trip for the first time, which is what makes each Disney trip so exciting! I love that there is always something new to see and explore, no matter how many times you go! After my list of firsts, I will add some comments and then...then it will really be the end!! :sad1:

My favorite "firsts" of this trip!

First stay at a mod!

IMG_1339.jpg

I thought I'd be upset not being at a deluxe, but I really liked POR! It makes me want to try all of the mods now!

First time at the Food and Wine festival!

IMG_1349.jpg

IMG_1360.jpg

We had such a great time sampling all the food and drinks, which is why we are going back in October this year!

First opening ceremony at MK!!

IMG_1428.jpg

So cute, something I have to do once on each trip now!

First Wishes Dessert Party!

IMG_1511.jpg

Yum, so glad we did this!

First visit to Animal Kingdom Lodge!

IMG_1584.jpg

If we didn't eat at Boma that morning, we might not be staying in AKL on our upcoming trip!

First time mini golfing!

IMG_1919.jpg

I loved this, it was such a fun way to spend an afternoon outside the parks!

First time hanging out at the Poly!

IMG_2152.jpg

I LOVE the Poly...I need to stay here someday!

First time eating at Ohana!

IMG_2171.jpg

Again, yum, so glad we went here, that bread pudding is probably the best dessert on the planet!

And, first time on TSM!

IMG_2368.jpg

Finally got to see what the hype was about...and we loved it!

All in all, it was an amazing trip! We had such a great time, and as always, I didn't want to come home! I'm glad I'm already planning another trip, because if I wasn't, I don't think I could have finished this TR.

The crowds this week were pretty low, there were times that it was a little more crowded than I remember from the year before the same week, but I can't complain! The weather was perfect, I don't remember if it rained at all, if it did, it was probably for 5 minutes! The days were warm and the nights were cool!

We got to go to Epcot many, many times, which is our favorite park! POR was in such a great location, literally down the street from Epcot, which was really nice!

The restaurants were all great, I definitely found a few new favorite places to eat on this trip! Can't wait to return to Boma and Ohana!

And the attractions were fantastic, as always! There is nothing better than going on the Tower of Terror at night, or taking a ride on Soarin to escape the heat for a little while! And Wishes and Illuminations made me cry like they always do, and Holiday Wishes is so beautiful, there is just something about Disney and Christmas...

Speaking of Disney and Christmas, there is really no better time to go to Disney World. The parks just seem extra magical, listening to Christmas music helps get you ready for the upcoming holiday season, and the decorations are amazing! :lovestruc And you get to see this:

IMG_2219.jpg

It doesn't get much better than that! :yay:

Thank you everyone, for reading along, and letting me share our trip with you! I love the DIS, I've made a lot of great friends here, hopefully someday I'll get to meet one or two of you! :rotfl: As soon as I start my PTR, I will link it here, hope you will all follow along! :)
