We All have your little insanity moments... right?

First of all, my DW laughs at me because I am on this board and other information boards all the time. She laughs but I have make the arrangements to even go to Disney. I select the hotel. I choose the ADRs. I coordinate them in concert with the EMHs. And I get good advice, too.

And this year, we're taking our MIL and a nephew with us. So I have to make it that everyone is accomodated and satisfied. So, I'm constantly on the board, right?

Anyway, I've found great deals on a 7 passenger minivan for rent. ($275 for the week. We drive down from Atlanta.) Also, I've picked some GREAT ADRs. And everyone's accomodated! Now I just visit the board to see about crowd control, water transportation, character greetings, and just to get away from the stress of work and life to listen to other people talk about their vacations.

Now, we leave late on April 5th to arrive early April 6th. Guess what? My DW told me last night (March 10th) that we are all packed and ready to go! What?! And I'm the one bananas?

Meanwhile, TWO WEEKS AGO, my MIL called my DW all depressed wishing that she could leave for WDW that next day. She called again wishing she could leave tomorrow!

So, yeah, I turn to the DIS board for some solace. And maybe to keep me from going crazy at work. But my wife packed my bags a month early. My two DSs (9 and 8) are constantly reminding me that they want to have a milkshake drinking contest at WCC and wish to ride EE two times at night, and my MIL keeps calling me trying to speed up time so she can go to WDW tomorrow!

So, what's YOUR obsession?

Im obsessed like you, and my dh is driving me crazy too LOL! He knows Im on here a lot, and Im constantly calling him in to show him things. This trip we are doing ddp and we are staying offsite, but next trip we are doing both, so Im trying to get ideas. PLUS this is the first trip for our kids 16 and 11. Dis boards are my addiction. But in all honesty they have helped me find a LOT out about timing, rides, food, and tickets. SO Ill join your insanity board. White coat for one please!

I have to say that we are going 4/1 - 4/7 and I will be packing as soon as someone gets me the suitcases down from the loft! I've been asking for a week and DH and DS do not think I am serious. Being in NY we have no need for summer clothes right now anyways. Soooo...I'm thinking your DW not so crazy.....

Can I just say I am gettng to the "i'm too excited to sleep stage" already? It's gonna be a long 3 weeks ::sigh::

Add me to the list of nut cases. We don't go until 4/12 and I pulled all the summer clothes out, made the kids try them on, went to buy new clothes (they out grew everything!!!), and have it all organized in our guest room. Now all I need are the suit cases and a few items for me.

I had a friend stop by yesterday and she saw the room.... she laughed so hard. (she is a last minute packer) She finds me very funny because I am so wound up and on the can't sleep phase already.

I never go to sleep the night before we go.

not really an obsession - but i had a nightmare that DH bought the wrong tickets and i was yelling at him about finger scans and park hopper options!
