:earsboy:

I'll get a team over to MGM ASAP ;)

We'll post the results as soon as they come in...

BTW Thanks for restarting the parks game oldtimer...you are truly a benevolent leader :D

Hmm...this sounds like a tricky assignment. Let's see the idea would be to gather the water befor Urula makes her appearance. But then you also have to look out for all the fishys and stuff. You don't want to knock those people on their butts and have us thrown out. I need to go an dobserve a showing. IPerhaps a sidetrip when we go to Epcot on Saturday.

By and by oh wonderful, gracious leader, are there any assignments for me while I trek through Epcot on Saturday? I am always willing to serve you!

Now I shall be off to check out the new thread.

Jas while you are on your recon mission at EPCOT on Saturday could you take a look at the water level in World Showcase Lagoon? Our bottling team needs to gear up from production and I want to make sure that we will have enough product to fill those bottles?

Higgs, we are in talks with three champagne houses in France ... Roeder, Mumms and Moet. Once we have nailed down those contracts for our high-end waters I'll begin negotiations with folks like Snapple, Arizona Tea for our lower end waters...

We have one contract with Mc Donalds. When you buy those new 100 Years of Magic glasses they are filled with Coke products that were made with WDW water! Talk about integrated marketing:earseek:

Hi all!

And thanks for the warm welcome of my position here of 'VP' of Entertainment!

Sorry for losing the link so many time's oldtimer - but wedding plans just suck!!! Takes up too much of my time and WAY to many brain cells...

I dont know if it is safe to say this here...so I'll try to whisper...but the water at Jurassic Park at IOA is out of this world...it has an 'extinct' taste, that WDW has yet to use, simply based on the fact that Dinosaur and Universe of Energy do not use water....maybe imagineers should take a taste and consider making one of these 2 attractions water as well! ( right after they steel the concept of 'Spiderman' - I actually hope that they do THAT first)

...as for WDW water - I have to say that POC has the top notch water that is readily available. I mean you can taste the beer in the water that the Pirate's have dropped in it - "...is there a down side to this..?" (Hades, Hercules)

Madonna...we need samples of that IOA water....If you can get them to me...I'll get a team on it right away....

We have some preliminary results on the Voyage of the Little Mermaid water from MGM...
Other than a slight tuna-life flavor (what did you expect with all those fishes???;)) there are no real promising properities...the water is safe for drinking...but it would probably be more suited to boil shrimp, clams, and lobsters in...

How about a WDWWDS clambake at Ft. Wilderness??? We could use the water from MGM...mmmmmmmmmmm

Jen...let me know how the drink negotiations are going...I'll start working on bottling techniques...

Outstanding!!! OK, before we go down again, let's make sure we get plenty of water from Little Mermaid, cause I can really down the clams (originally from Long Island, you know). Plus, my college roommate was from Maine, so we can get the Lobsters for real cheap.

Now, has anybody checked the water at Kali River Rapids yet?

I finally found my way to the Water Board! Yeay!

I've had Kali - refreashing with a spicey boquet. Goes well with Tai or Chinese cuisine. Towards the later half of the river the water takes on a smokey flavor from the exotic woods being infused into the blend. Adds a nice touch.

-Kim

The threads seem to be back and we can actually post.

Let's break out the Seven Seas Lagoon Vintage 1971 to celebrate .... Let's all raise a glass!

Finally!...Now I get my team back to some serious R & D :D

Yeesh I have been waiting to post my fact finding mission in Epcot from Saturday.

The water levels are high at the world showcase lagoon. So we should be a go on bottling that water.

I also visited the fountain in France and got a sample of the water from the foutain there. I will be forwarding it to R&D for analyses. It kind of has a weird smell. Oh well.

I did not come across any security issues while touring the worlds. I could readily stick my hand or head in a fountain, and no one stopped me. So go for it.

Jas this is good news in deed!

Higgs how are we doing the bottling technique for the non-vintage product lines? Sounds like we could begin bottling the World Showcase Lagoon and whatever else is non vintage very soon:bounce:

How are we doing with new products folks?

I was thinking of collecting water from the leaky hose in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Playground.

-Kim

Kim, I would be careful of that Playground water. There are alot of little kids with leaky diapers and pull-ups running around in there unsupervised.

Sorry that I have been "MIA", for a few days, but I've been quite ill. You see, I thought it might be fun to stick a pitcher under the rain falling in the GMR "Singin' In The Rain" sequence, throw a few ice cubes in, and have myself a party. BIG MISTAKE. I suggest that Jas, Higgs, and KSDave take a look at that situation immediately, as I became VIOLENTLY ILL from the experience. Uuuuuuuuggggggghhhhhh. I suggest that a warning be issued to avoid GMR water, immediately! I will return to work upon my recovery, oh Great Leader.

That's why I'm going to catch it before it hits the ground! :D So I'm going to be doing alot of running around collecting water - hope thoe little kids don't get in my way! :p

-Kim

Based on IASW's last post...the WDWWDS R & D department has determined that ALL GMR water is strictly off-limits until further research can be done...We can't have the membership getting sick on us...

Also Kim..If you could get us a sample of that water from the playground I'd appreciate it...we need to test that too...but please...no leaky diaper water...YUK
Hopefully IASW's experience is not a signal that all of the MGM water has been affected...rest assured that we are staying on top of this situation...

Have a "71" day :)

IASW Rider thanks for the warning ...

Did you happen to share that sample with our fearless founding father that benevolent leader OT? He has been driving the porcelain bus and kissing the porcelain gods all day today.

Higgs and Dave we better check this out before we distribute GMR water or we could have a PR disaster with a recall and everything:eeK

Kim, be careful you don't trip on one of those little ones who like to slide around in that area.

"Kim, be careful you don't trip on one of those little ones who like to slide around in that area."

Oops - too late. :p

I've got a Playground sample for testing - no diaper water here!! I was about to head over to Muppetvision and sit through several shows to get a "Flower Spritzer" sample.

I love Beaker - he's so funny. :D

-Kim

Better wait on that flower spritzer sample, Kim, until Higgs and Co. have finished assessing the water situation at the Studios. If the GMR was affected, who knows what could be in the water at Muppetvision or the Backlot Tour!

Where is our Fearless Leader, anyway??? I could have sworn I heard the strains of "71 bottles of water on the wall...." being sung by someone who sounded just like him.........
