On that same note of killing trees, I would like to toss out what our 12th grade Literature teacher told us: "Save a tree, get your GED"

The tips just aren't what they used to be and my shoes are so uncomfortable.
I can't imagine the g stiring feels like that comfy either.

Yeah J... those aren't that comfy either - especially if one has to wear them on a regular basis - but it's a good thing I don't wear them for too long at a time. ;)
But my four-inch heels, despite the pain, look sooooo good up on that stage. Speaking of which, I'm having a practice stage built in the headquarters - free lessons to those interested and it's also for general use. Four poles are also being installed. You know, for firefighter training.

Hey Madonna, I see that you are telling AP and Jwill some bandcamp stories, great. By the way, do you own a flute

Wow, what action on this borad:smooth:

Oh by the way. I was reading the past few weeks to catch up. I believe that I have the cat fight sorted out right now but can some one please explain to mean whet the heck "bump from page 1 " means? I my missing a joke or something?

Welcome home Lizzie and Boss...hope your trip's were as good as mine...

Yeah....like you all didn't have a threesome going on the beach of the Poly. What is this smokescreen? At the very least, we all know Boss and Lizzie got bizzie.

That reminds me - Lizzie - did your twin girls purchase Tigger ears? If so; are they blonde and blue-eyed?

Ah Lizzie, i thought that you were going to keep it our little secret;)
Let me tell you OT. Me and Lizzie got Busy and let me tell you she left me dizzy:eek: ;) :smooth:

Hey Madonna,

My trip was absolutely awesome. Except for the Mother in Law from HELL and my busted cam corder.

I wanna go back already. There is no place as magical as the Magic Kingdom. I love Cinderella's Castle.

Hope you had a great trip too!!! I've gotta tell you, I called one of my friends back home so they could tell me what number Clay was so I could vote. I couldn't get back to the hotel to see the show, so I didn't know his number.

I just downloaded his performances and with the exception of that stupid "Vincent" song, he was fabulous.

Can anyone tell me which was the judges pick and which was the wildcard song choice?

AI?? Oh I loved that movie. One of the best that Spielberg has done recently. That starred the kid from Sixth Sense, right? What a touching ending...

Some people dismissed it as only a sci-fi flick, but there's a lot more to it. Nice pick, Nicole....you sure know your good movies.

Madonna,
I have 15 year old boy girl twins(yes I'm a very young mom). My youngest are 4 and 2 and they are both boys so no tigger ears for them. They were wearing Buzz hats.

Hey Boss -
I didn't divulge any details about the hammock escapade did I
;) . I'll keep that little secret to myself. Note to self: Send Disney a check for the replacement hammock :)

Random Pick: Vincent
Judges Pick: Mack the Knife
Personal Pick: Unchained Melody

Vincent was God-awful. His recovery of the hosed lyrics was impressive, but that song did not suit him at all. Mack the Knife was very good since it's always been a sort of Broadway/Vegas-ish song, it suited him well. Unchained Melody could have been much better. He sang it well, but the arrangement was bad. If they had him sing it like it was originally arranged it could have been the best from Clay yet. But they screwed around with the pacing of the song and added too many long notes. Sometimes "making it your own" is a bad thing.

Then again, Justin sang the same song later in the show and it was horrid. I don't think he's even as good as the top 10 this season.

Welcome back Lizzie and Boss. Did you guys bring anything back to restock our supplies? I think AP has been dipping in too much and the suplpy is dwindling.

Btw, any good tips would be appreciated, especially about AKL. I think I'm the next to be going, right?

I was wondering if you were watching last night, OT. I knew you'd cherish Julia's one note solo. Did you see the look on her face? I'm not sure if it was surprise that she hit it or joy at getting her one second in the spotlight.

So Josh has returned to duty. I wonder how much ribbing he's getting from his fellow marines.

Good Morning America did a bit on AI this morning. They showed supporters in both Raleigh and Birmingham and did little vinettes on Clay and Ruben. Frenchy was on later, but I had to leave to go to work, so I popped a tape in to watch later. Diane said something about her getting a job on Broadway.

Boy, it really sucks coming home from a WDW vacation, huh? Pretty damn depressing, because you realize that it's going to be a loooooong time until you're there again. Too long. Sure, you can try to lift your spirits by planning on the next trip. You can look at the pictures you took, watch the videos, write your trip reports. But that little bit of excitement it brings will wane quickly because there's all those long, Disney-less days ahead. You won't be waking up in a Disney resort room. The carefree days of deciding such simple things as which park to go to, which restaurant you're going to try, which attraction you want to go on first, are over. Now you have to worry about work, the bills, terrorist threats, SARS, the economy, doing laundry and yardwork. The heartwarming sights and sounds of a riverboat paddling it's way lazily down the Rivers of America, a steam train pulling out of the Main St. Station, the sound of the dog howling by the HM, Spectromagic, the sparkling golden spires of Cinderellas castle are all gone. Now you're back to a sea of SUVs and minivans clogging the roads, the only dog you'll hear is the annoying neighbor's mutt yapping to be let in, and there are no castles in your real world, just office buildings, houses and McD's golden arches.
No more fun, no more laughter. Back to the real world and the weight of it is resting squarely on your shoulders. Nothing to look forward to on the horizon. AI will be over soon. Survivor won't be back until the Fall. If only you had another couple days of Disney Magic. If only you could turn the clock back to the day you arrived at MCO. If only you were Sandy (gometros) But no, your vacation's over. Life sucks. Might as well pull the covers over your head and cry yourself to sleep.

Welcome back everyone!! Have a nice day.

I'm NEXT in line for the vacation trip....sorry Sandy...but I'll bring ya back plenty of stock for the frig....that's if Apnic will agree to initiate me into the society here :) :smooth:

OT -

Thanks for the cheer up. I'm off to slit my wrists :(

No don't slit your wrists....I have this yummy KoolAid for everyone to drink.

Gee OT - talk about your "pickeruper..." who needs enemy's when they've got you?

Ok - that Vincent song was horrible....BUT... if it really was a *random pick* then what right did the judges have in telling him that it was a "bad song choice?" That REALLY ticked me off...

I for one - never even heard the song before, so I didn't even notice that Clay messed the words up...

Don't worry 2be - Apnic can be REALLY nice....honest...;)

Actually he didn't mess up the words, he forgot them totally. You could see him pause for a microsecond, then just hold the last note he sang, until his brain got on track again. It really was a masterful recovery. Plus, they shorten a lot of the songs and splice different parts together to make them fit into the 40 min show with 20 min of commercials. That also screws them up.

It was a pretty big hit in the 70's. Now drink your KoolAid.
