The Walt Disney World Water Drinkers Society has moved to this thread. The old digs were getting a bit shabby anyway. We had professional movers come in over the weekend to relocate everything. Execs please note that, although your offices have been expanded by another 50 sq. feet, everything has been placed virtually exactly as you left it on Friday. The spa is almost twice as big and we've added a complete gym. The golden calf has been moved out of the cafeteria and is now the centerpiece of the new garden/meditation center adjoining the East Wing of the building.

For those who are unfamiliar, the WDWWDS is a non-profit organization, dedicated to drinking any and all water in WDW, including ride water, fountain water...anything that's wet. We maintain our own cellar of vintage waters here at the offices and offer training and informational packages to anyone who wishes to drink from the water sources during WDW visits.
Membership is open to anyone, we offer generous compensation to staff persons, and a number of benefits, including our exciting new sig-pic sitting service. If you're tired of carrying around that old pic of your kid, spouse, cat...heck even your long list of hotel stays.....in your DIS signature, just drop 'em off here for a while. We'll be happy to take care of them while you hop around the boards pic free.

Members, I have an important announcement to make....I am temporarily handing off my CEO duties to mrsapalm, our Executive VP. I'm off to Iraq to fight the good fight for the DIS. Yep, Alex has requested I take a special assignment in Iraq and I'm leaving today. He even gave me a special shirt to wear...with some unusual symbol on the back to keep me safe. I think it's an image of a special DIS talisman....sort of like big red concentric circles with an "X" through them. I'll be checking in daily via satellite, but won't be able to handle the day-to-day issues of the Society while on this special assignment.

Ahhh OT…what will we do without our Fearless Leader???
Though I must say AP is an inspired choice to run our beloved society…we will keep fighting the good fight here at home against the WDWWPS while you are gone!

If you need anything from the R&D team let me know….

Ahhh....my 2 favourite men in one place at one time - can a girl get any luckier?!?

Madonna reporting for duty oh fearless leader...last I checked we still needed some entertainment for Mickey's 75th Birthday party - any suggestions???

psst does this mean that AP is in charge while your gone? Woo hoo!!! Par-tay with the golden calf...

Hi Higgs... I missed you!

Hey wait, OT, before you leave, make sure that AP knows that she can't let Madonna back in during your absence.

Good to see some familiar faces.

As you know OT I believe in the cause for good fresh Disney water. I believe that Bill Gates once said, "A computer in every home, on every desk" or something like that. Well, I believe in Walt Disney World Water in every home, in every glass. Just this morning as I was brushing my teeth with my electric tooth brush I was hoping for two things. First that the water would taste as good as it does at WDW and second that our Fearless Leader would find a home for us.

Out of curiosity OT, have I ever completed my initiation? If yes can I become a member of this great society?

Your Humble Servant:)

Hey wait, OT, before you leave, make sure that AP knows that she can't let Madonna back in during your absence.

psst...who the heck told Jas where we were???

Hey there AP - may I say that you look ravishing today...!!!

Jas - I'll be reinstated in 55 days anyhow:p , but hey - who's counting?

Greetings Fellow WDS'ers!

KP reporting in for duty! All is looking well in the waters of WDW. No tigger sightings yet today.

Boss has an excellent idea. Higgs - I'm sure the R&D dept. can work on some sort of distribution method. Of course, there is the logistical problem of there being only so much water in WDW. But then again, that's why it rains.

Ever vigilent,
KP

Glad to see the members checking in for duty. Nice siggy, KP - spruced it up all-pretty-like, did you? Looks good!
Nice addition to yours as well, Jas - showin' some good 'ole team spirit or siggy-clip-art-sitting for someone else?
While Fearless Leader is off fightin' the good fight, I shall be a fair and just CEO.
Springsteen - you are on double-secret probation, and you haven't even gone through your initiation yet. I think that's a first. :p

Remember, we welcome anyone and everyone to join in on the fun - we're equal-opportunity water drinkers around here.
My first CEO proclamation --- new WDW-Connected Water Fountains installed in everyone's offices, and a special one will be sent on a provisional period up North to Madonna. Great perk, eh?

Who Won't Let The Pow-ah Go To Her Head

OT, when you go off to fight the good fight why don't you bring some WDW Water with you, one sip and there may be no war:bounce:

Wow, water fountains in everyone's office. This sure beats the crummy community cooler. The only downside is that we will now have to gather at the snack machine. Who's got the coat hanger? I see a pack of Good n' Plentys ready to fall with some gentle persuasion.

Hi AP! Thanks for noticing my siggy. Just some good ole school spirit as we enter March Madness. The SEC tournament starts on Thursday, then we're off to the NCAA tourney!!!! Too bad about our loss to Kentucky on Saturday. :( How is it up there in Gainesville, Kim? Everyone excited????

Jwill - You can have all the Good 'N Plentys you want -- those things are nasty!! In fact, I'm sending you a case to your office right away. Yuck!
Springsteen - Nope - double-secret probation is not a good thing. I'll be watching you.
Jas - March Madness, eh? I don't really follow college basketball, so I trust you and your allegiance to your Gators.
Now, anyone have any other orders of business?

Who Won't Let the Pow-ah Go To Her Head

I'm sure everyone would be excited if they all weren't on Spring Break right now. ;):)

Here in the Grad school, where the students don't go on Spring break (I did, but I'm wierd), no one seems to notice these things. I wonder if some of them even know we have a football team.

I like your sig.

As for mine - thanks AP - since the new guidelines came out, I had to do some adjusting to keep all the same info in the sig - but it works. ;)

-Kim

Spring break...what's that???? Figures, I wasn't even thinking it was Spring break yet, even with all the Girls Gone Wild Pay Per View commercials.

P.S. Can we do something about the Golden Calf, like get rid of it. I find it very offensive. That is unless we can add in some other religious icons. And No I don't mean the Survivor Immunity Idol.

Ok - can we get back to our American Idol game? I know I havent been re-instated yet or anything...but...

Here's the deal - we wait until AFTER Tuesday's show and Wednesday during the day (whoever watches it) put's in our *bet* as to who will get eliminated the following night?!? We could like bet for bottles of POC water or something of that nature...

What do ya say?!?

Sounds good to me Madonna!!! :teeth: Looking forward to it!!!!

The Golden Calf (where did that come from, anyway?) shall be relegated to storage in the Prop Room until further notice.
And it's nice to be able to wear short-sleeved shirts and I even dug out my (gasp) shorts this weekend and wore them, but only around the house.
The first official day of Spring isn't until the 20th - many people over here are on Spring Break right now. Kinda defeats the purpose, right?
I'll be game for an American Idol game. Should be an *interesting* competition with all the *interesting* people that made it to the Top 12. Interesting.

JW, might I suggest you pretend you are a Hanson brother and that the ah....blankey-blank "machine took your quarter"?? Give it a good check in the boards and that Good N Plenty will come out....along with a whole bunch of other stuff. How do you think I get all my snacks at work?

I think AP's doing a bang-up job already. I wonder if this fresh new look will bring MK and Jay back?? I mean people did apologize and I DO miss having our official WDWWDS clock maker around.

I'm in for the Idol game. Seeing as how I'm dominating the Survivor game, I figure this'll be easy. Clay, Trenyce and Julia are my picks now.

Ok gotta run....there's some guys running at me screaming, "Kill the American, praise Allah!!" I'm going to see what they want.

OT - I wouldnt hold my breath if I were you on that Survivor comment..."Hey Happy learned how to putt..."

I say Clay hands down also (although I think it will come down to him and Julia; just like Kelly and Justin) but THIS time the guy wins!!!

BTW - I just downloaded Clay's *Open Arms* - can I just tell you that there is no point to even go through the next 12 weeks!?? The guy is absolutely incredible!!!

But - we are not talking about *who wins* now are we?!? That would be bor-ing...in the true WDWWDS spirit - we only care about who gets E-L-I-M-I-N-A-T-E-D...
