Any game that can end in a tie is not a sport....it's recreation.

Ummm...JP...change skating to running...and you have just described NFL football...where regular season games can end in a tie (though it rarely happens)

Both hockey and football playoffs play until there is a winner though...

But I am with you on curling...I just don't get it...

I'll tell you why it's big. Because a lot of the viewers use that as a form of learning how to count. "That's 1 lap Billybob", "yep, yep, yep, that's 2 laps Jethro" The problem is they never get past 250

You GAVE us basketball??? Naismith lived HERE when he invented the game. But what do I care, I'm not into basketball. I would place Hockey above basketball. Awhh heck, Football is the only sport I REALLY get into. Baseball has become boring for me, as well as Basketball. The violence in Hockey is the only thing that saves it for me. So if I were to rate: Football, Hockey, Baseball, Basketball.

A dangerous sport also. Has far higher mortality rate than boxing does, but boxing gets all of the negative press.

Talk about a boring. The NFL is nothing but running game as Sir Higgs has pointed out. I mean, there is more “scoring” on your Presidential score card than there is on an NFL score card.

Actually, that's soccer. I don't get that sport either.

I never said that I didn't like hockey, just that there are 3 other sports that I'd watch ahead of it.

Second....I agree with JP on soccer...just dreadful to watch...but I do stick by my statement that football can end in a tie...
