WDW Walt's Birthday Release Date Change

The LE 7500 Walt's Birthday pin scheduled to be released on Dec. 5 has been changed to Dec.15th. On Dec. 5 they will release a Open edition pin which looks very close to LE pin.

This is not what they are saying at the parks. They are still saying 12-5-01 is release date.

I was at MGM today and asked a CM. She told me the limited edition pin would be released Wednesday morning under the hat.

Update - I was talking to a CM at the Boardwalk pin cart tonight. She told me the pin to be released tomorrow is an open edition. She didn't know about the limited edition, I told her I heard 12-15, she said that's possible since it's the day Walt died (35 years ago).
