WDW VMK Central news

I had a chance to spend some time in WDW's (Magic Kingdom) VMK Central today and thought I would share what little news I could get.

First of all, the cast members could not tell me anything new that might be happening there. Also 4 of the 5 terminals have not been working for the last few days. It seems that the blue bar screen is so slow that the terminals time out before they even get to the updating screen.

I also got to turn in all the quests (they have spare Tomorrowland Quests if you ask for them) and Tent, Invisible, & Gold Collection PDFs. They did not have any Haunted Mansion (except Invisible) or Pirate Quests cards to give out, but had all of the Jungle Cruise cards. Wish I could have got some Pirate Quest cards, but very happy to get some of the rarer Jungle Cruise ones. I got the bracelet and the following cards:
1/30, 3/30, 5/30, 7 through 12/30, two 14/30 (Jungle Cruise and PDF), 15 through 20/30, two 21/30 (cactus chair?), 22 & 23/30, two 25/30 (Fantasyland Castle Retro Pin?). and 26 through 27/30.

That's kind of sad, like they're doing a "Going Out of Business" sale at VMK
Central. It's also sad that the terminals aren't working properly, either.
I hated those awful metal keyboards, but still.

I was so disappointed that I didn't get pirate.

I went and turned in my quests, just before closing and I was in line for the Monorail and noticed that quest packs looked a little thin, there was NO PIRATE! I knew it was a mistake as 3 days earlier my sister had got me sets and they all had pirate in them.

I figured if I didn't fix that right then they would never believe me the next day.

I got out of the monorail line (picture fish swimming upstream) practically ran to the front gate which was of course by now closed. Sweet talked them into letting me into the park only to find out they were OUT of pirate....and hey said it was forever!

Boy was a greatful for my little sister and her friends and the pirate they got for me!
