Hi there! I'm EXTREMELY new to this board, but in no way new to being in love with all things Disney! I live in Orlando, FL and have an Annual Pass to WDW so I go there a lot! Living local to the parks is a great thing and I feel very lucky to be able to go there so often.

I've been doing some research online, and have seen there are a lot of Vlogs (video blogs) of people going to Disneyland in California. Not just vacation ones, but locals who go there and take videos of their trips, different rides and other things. I've noticed there is a lack of vlogs for WDW! I've been researching the past few weeks, and other than vacation videos, cant seem to find any like the ones people post from Disneyland. If you know of any, please point me in that direction!

Why I'm posting this here:

I am interested in starting a Vlog that features my trips to WDW. I'd like to know a few things from avid Disneylovers and park goers to kind of get a feel if this is something worth doing, and also interested in seeing what people would want to view.

1. Do you enjoy watching videos about the parks?

2. If you do, what are some things you like seeing? Do you want to see certain rides/atrractions? Hear Disney News? Other things?

3. If you don't, what are some reasons you find yourself not enjoying them?

Those are really the only questions I have at the moment. The idea is very new to me, so there may be things I havent thought of yet. If you have any ideas, questions, comments, concerns, whatever please voice them! I'd love some feedback!

Also, for added fun, heres a picture of me on my most recent visit to Magic Kingdom. I Disneybounded as Ariel. This picture is actually taken in line for the Under the Sea ride! =]

This is a lot of work. I have been trying to get into podcasting which is almost like a VLOG. The equipment and time needed is way more than I expected lol. I'm sure some people who are locals might enjoy seeing Wishes or something on any given night though

I love watching videos when people just walk trough the parks and seeing new things or events
I don't like the ones that are loud with lots of crowd noise. It's best when you can hear the music and park sounds. I get all of my news right here from the dis unpluged podcast they are by far the best source and I would not trust anyone else. The podcast team also does some very high quality videos on everything Disney. Good luck with whatever you do.

Oh, I definitely dont expect it to extremely easy, but I also dont plan to start out with anything fancy. Good quality video is a priority of course.

Thanks for the input! I hadnt even thought about the fireworks, haha! I have to say I've only watched the fireworks at Epcot. I normally avoid the crowd of Wishes, cause it gets crazy. Watching them while on Thunder Mountain is great though =]

Thanks for pointing out that podcast! I will def check it out!

Personally, I dont think I want to do a news vlog, because I would only be repeating things people can already find online as I dont have a direct source to all things Disney. Ones with crowd noise are really annoying, no one likes crowd noises.. I will def keep that in mind!

One bing to do is do a live steam of the fireworks. If you have a set work schedule you can set up every Wed doing wishes. Friday Fantasmic. Sunday illuminations. Or whatever. .
