If I'm not mistaken it never says how old he was when the curse was put on him - just a reference to a "young prince" - the rose given would only bloom until his 21st year though! (Anyone with a different answer?)

He was 21 at the time of the movie bc it was his last chance for love and in Lumieres song Be Our Guest he says 10 years we've been rusting........ 21-10=11. I pick up on the little things and usually miss the obvious
