What ideas do you have to get the family excited about an upcoming trip?
- Planning DVD
- Disney Movies
- Old family trip videos/pictures
- Planning spreadsheet constantly under development
- Disney documentaries

Anything else?

For us while we countdown it will include making plans and changing constantly ;]
Disney movie nights
Watching ride videos on YouTube
Buy new Disney tshirts before we go so we have a new one for each day of the trip.
For me I will be reading tons of trip reports :]

About 60 days before, The Buying of The Shoes. Then The Breaking in Of the Shoes.

I always ask my family for input into where they want to stay and where they want to eat.

This upcoming trip has the added bonus of "What FP+ should we get?" There are 3 of us so that works out.

Well, I must say that my family(Well, more so me and my boys ;) ) are disney crazed! We watch youtube videos of the resorts, parks, rides, etc all year round and we even listen to disney stations on Live 365, so our normal day activities consist of our prep to our trip too :lmao: But to list what we do:

Watch Youtube videos of the resort we are staying at, The walk-throughs of the parks, the videos of the rides and parades.

Listen to Magic Radio and Dlluminations Radio

Watch old home movies of Prior Disney Trips

Start shopping for for a few new disney shirts, even though we already have a ton...who doesn't need new disney shirts :rotfl2:

We build a schedule and adjust a million times!

We look at the menus of the places we are going to eat..even if we had already ate there before..50's Prime Time Cafe anyone ;)

We love to make a list of new snacks and drinks to try..Jalapeno Cheese Stuffed Pretzel..I'm coming for you in May ::yes::

And to get us really Syked for our trip...We what the "Must Do Disney" with Stacey on YouTube!

I have mine help me plan our time.. We watch ride videos, pick out which ones we want to do, what days to go to what parks, where to eat etc. You will be SHOCKED sometimes with what kiddos come up with. My 5yo and 7yo asked for an entire day just to go tour the World Showcase because they love it. So, instead of 3 day at MK and 1 at Epcot we are doing 2 and 2.
Its becoming a school project for my oldest. She is helping me figure out average wait times, ride lengths etc and coming up with ride combos we could do. She knows it won't work that way (Id laugh if it did) but shes enjoying it none the less and is looking forward to seeing if her estimates were even close to what actually happens.
