wdw travel agents

we are looking to plan a trip to wdw and got a quote from 2 popular disney specializing travel agents. they both quoted us the same prices for the packages that we can get on disney's website on our own. How do you guys always get good deals from the travel agents? any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!! helpp

A travel agent can continuously monitor your reservation for any discounts or deals that might arise. That way, you do not have to worry about missing something. Travel agents can also provide special services, such as making your dining reservations and arranging for transportation to and from the airport. They provide a convenience and save you from having to spend time on the phone or having to deal with the hassle of having to constantly check for new discounts.

I found TAs are more useful for people who don't have the time for the details . If you are regularly here on the DIS we know for Codes and so forth before some of the TAs know them.

This is no knock on TAs they do a good job for most people.

I used a magicforless TA and loved it! My rate wasn't any better but I loved that when the codes came out in August she was on top of it and took care of it for me, saved me $460! She made my ADRs and was just a resource to go to with questions. She was very pleasant to work with and though I could have done all this myself I liked having someone taking care of things for me, someone who has done this many more times than I have.

Ditto. Deb at the MagicForLess is my favorite. She has booked 3 trips for me. We have received the best service. Deb is professional and very helpful, not to mention extremely friendly. She has made all our ADRs, booked my Segway tour, helped my DH book a Wishes cruise for a surprise for me, suggested great places to dine, and on and on. Every trip, she manages to be of great help.
