WDW Tours for a 7 Year Old

I know many of the WDW tours have age requirements; however, I also know a few do not. I am looking for something fun and new to do as a special mother daughter activity with my 7 year old during our trip in April. I thought about tea at the GF, but my DH really wants to do that with her as well. I thought a tour might be fun. Anyone have any experience with taking kids on WDW tours? Any particular tours that were enjoyed, any that weren't well received with this age group?

Have you tried Behind the Seeds in Epcot in the Land? It's rather inexpensive and usually easy to book.

What about the Disney Family Magic Tour? It’s kind of like a scavenger hunt through the magic kingdom. My 7 year old son enjoyed it. Definitely not worth doing for both parents because it’s definitely geared towards kids. Seven is the perfect age especially if she can read.
