WDW to Wonder

We will be staying on site for three days before heading over to the Wonder for the 4 night cruise. What is the best way to get from WDW to Port Canaveral?

You can call DCL before you leave to arrange transfers or I think most of the resorts have DCL desks in them. But I am a planner, so I would book them before you go. If you have a larger party, you could check into a private limo ride?

We do one-way rental cars. Given the cost of transfers per person, it is more economical (at least for us) to do it this way.

We just did this in October and paid around $30 for each rental. Budget has a shuttle from their facility to the ship.

Given that the cost of the transfers is $59 per person, we saved about 50%. And with the one-way rentals, you don't pay for parking at the pier.

With a rental, you're also not tied to the DCL schedule for pick up (too late to the ship for me). And depending on where you are in the pick up schedule, you could make a couple more resort stops before heading to the ship. It is shared transportation so there is more "waiting" time and the whole process takes longer.

Brilliant! I guess it might have eventually occurred to me to rent a car, but it sounds like the perfect option for us, for all the reasons you listed!
