WDW to Miami

How do you get from WDW to Miami (for a cruise) if you dont have a vehicle. Rent a car is one option but drop off fees might be steep. Is there any kind of public transit?

Public transit in Florida is a joke.

Most car rental companies in Florida do not charge extra fees for drop off.

Your best option is renting a car.

That is what my family and I are doing in October to get from MCO to Port Canaveral.

If you rent a car through Budget, they have a drop off location on Collins Ave in Miami Beach. They will then shuttle you to the pier free of charge. Make sure you leave lots of time, because it's a very small office with few staff so it will take a while. It won't matter which rental company you use, they all take a long time.

You are probably better off renting a car and driving, keeping in mind that it will take you close to 4 hours of driving to reach Miami.
