Hi everyone

My DF and I are going to WDW for our site visit this weekend. :Pinkbounc I have never been before and would like some tips on important things to see/do. We will only be there for two days and I want to make sure we don't miss any key things we should see for wedding planning. Also what are the highlights of WDW for a first-time visit.

As far as things to do at the park, I would definitely try to see Illuminations at Epcot! It is an AWESOME fireworks show! Fantasmic at MGM is also good. However, both of these shows occur at night so I don't know if you will have time to see them both. Have a great trip!

There are so many wonderful things to do!

Hopefully this first trip will just the tip of the iceberg - and you'll be able to come back and visit for longer!

I would recommend making dinner reservations in advance - they are really hard to come by!

Thanks for the advice! I would never have thought about the dinner reservations. Any suggestions on restaurants? I have heard a lot about Boma and might try that. I would love to hear other people's favorites.

We loved O'hana at the Poly, with the bbq food cooked in front of you, the hoola hoop games for kids and more though we also loved lots of different types of food at the world showcase at Epcot. As you go through each country there is a related restaurant for each, fabulous! World showcase is my favourite. I also like the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom dining with the Winnie the Pooh characters.
Once you have been you will want to go again, there is too much to see & do.
Have a wonderful time.

That is definitely something I recommend you check out. We booked our restaurant a little bit blind, although didnt regret it for a second.

We dined at Victoria & Albert's after our FTW and it was simply stunning, however, it is about $150 per head !

I cant speak for any other restaurant because I hadnt done my homework, but Citricos has a good reputation as does Narcoossees (Sp?). Pop along and check them out while you have the opportunity.

It is also nice to look at the venue and the routes to and from it, as you will actually take on the day, so you dont feel quite so lost (not knowing where one goes next!) on the day.

Have a fab time [jealous icon]!
