Mears Transportation, the company that runs the authorized taxis at WDW, is changing the look of their taxis.
The company is phasing out it's 3 fleets -- Checker, Yellow, & City Cabs -- and rebranding them as just Mears Taxi.
The new look is plain yellow paint with a diagonal white stripe across the side, and just Mears Taxi and the phone number in a very plain font. There is no other decoration or logo. The change will occur gradually over the coming year.
I'm disappointed. I like the retro logos they adopted a year or so ago for the Checker & City fleets.
