We (my 5th time, best friend's 3rd time and her 2 girls 2nd time, my little one's 1st visit) came to "the world" in 2007 for my daughter's 3rd birthday and brought our own strollers. You'd think we were bringing a weeks worth of stinky garbage with the looks we got getting on the busses with our 2 strollers.
This time around, my best friend and I thought about renting a double stroller in the parks for our 2 littlest ones. Mine will be 5 and her youngest will be 6 when we come in July.
To get to the point of my ramble....has anyone by chance ever went so far as to measure how wide, long, etc the double stollers are at Disney? I thought about making a seat cushion and blanket for the girls for our trip so that the plastic will not be so uncomfortable. Too wide and it gets a bit cumbersome. Too short and one of the girls gets the short end of the stick. I wanted to add a pillow-like headrest to the top of it in case they crash out.
The other idea is to say to heck with the glares from bussers and bring our own strollers which would be a money-saver and we would have stow-room.
Any ideas?
Thanks
