WDW stands by their prices!

I'm not sure if anyone will remember a post I had a couple of months ago. In a nutshell; I ordered my AP's from the Disney store the week before the prices were going up and was fully assured I would be paying the old price. Well, when they came in the CM at the Disney Store said no way, I had to pay the now current price for the AP's. (Ironically, she charged me full price for the adult AP's, the old price for the child AP's). Anyway, I complained to the manager and he told me I would have to take it up with the CM's at Disney World. He gave me all my paperwork and the receipt and wished me good luck. I figured I was out of luck. But I went to guest relations to activate my AP's and showed them the paperwork and they never even questioned it. They activated the AP's and handed me roughly $50 in Disney dollars. So I got the refund on the two adult AP's. It was really a nice surprise for our visit and gave me back a little more confidence in Disney.(I have always found the CM's at WDW to be very accommodating.). Hope this can help someone if they have the same situation!
 
Wow...what was wrong with the CM in the store? We did the same thing...we actually ordered ours the day before the price changed. The manager said she wasn't sure if we would get the old price but that we could refuse them when they came in. Anyway, they came in about 12 days later with the old price.

I can't believe the CM would charge you more than the price on the paperwork. In order to do that, he/she would have to override the scanned amount for the vouchers.

Anyway...glad to see they worked it out for you without a hassle.
