Hello Again DIS'ers,

I have another conundrum with regards to my WDW trip for this Nov. There will be a total of 3 adults and 3 kids (youngest being 3). Initially, we were thinking because of the addition of my mother in law, we should look at staying off property (due primarily to cost) and considered Bonnet Creek. We were quoted a 3BR suite for $900.

Then we discovered that you can actually get some of the DVC villas for a discount through some websites and/or DVC members. So then looking at some prices, the cost of 2 stuidios @ AKL would basically equal the cost of BC + cost of renting a mini van for the week.

We've never stayed off property before and although WBC looks lovely, I just don't know if we're going to get that "Disney" feel when staying on property.

Any thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

The cabins sleep six. You can rent points from a dvc member either directly or through a website like Dave's. For the most part two studios would not be connected. Usually a studio connects to a one bedroom to for a two bedroom. You can also try the art of animation suites. I think they sleep six.
The thing to remember if you rent from a dvc member- you don't own the reservation so can't call up and make changes, you don't qualify for free dining or other promotions and you don't get daily maid service.

Also, with DVC, you have to plan early, with November, you're looking at a good bit of the DVC owner options having been picked over. If you are considering it with AKV, you really should find out if there is availability for DVC owners.
