I just got back from WDW last night and had a very nice time! I have learned a few things while there.
One of the more important experiences was being on the other end of the wheelchair/ECV spectrum. My mom needed to use one due to an arthritic knee and for the most part everyone was pretty helpful and pleasant. We did have one bus driver who I felt was rather sarcastic towards my mother. Other than that one bus driver all the cast members were very helpful. Other guests at the park cut in front of us and it was frustrating! There were other guests that were so helpful! It really is one of those "walk in someone else's shoes" experiences.
We went to MNSSHP and the selection and amount of candy stations was so-so. I know it was reported as such during one of the podcasts. We did have the pleasure of attending the Wishes Dessert Party and thought it was very nice (Yay, they had sweet tea as one of the beverages!!)
We finally tried Toy Story Mania and we LOVED it! Now I know why everyone is so excited about having the party there (now I wish I could go!).
I even met Buddy from TLC's Cake Boss, we were at the Cape May breakfast and we spotted his brother in law first then we saw him. I went up to him and gave him a quick and quiet compliment about his show (he thanked me and shook my hand).
On a funny note, our last morning at WDW we ate at Crystal Palace. Apparently each of the characters had an opinion of my Yankees t-shirt, some are Yankees fans and some were Phillies fans. Winnie the Pooh was not a Yankees fan, he took my hand and walked me around the restaurant to people who had on Phillies gear. Piglet and Tigger are Yankees fans and I don't think Eeyore noticed my shirt.
