WDW Restaurant Food Report

Wow, what a great report!

Now you've got me VERY interested in trying Cape May for breakfast, something I've never even considered. I love them for dinner so it's my goofiness.

We've never tried 'Ohana for dinner either. Well, that's going to change now. :)

Thanks for the reviews and pics. I really enjoyed reading them. I now really want to go to LTT!!

It's fun to see all the pictures, too! Sounds like you had a fabulous trip! I might have to go back to FF just to try those peeky toe crab cakes! Well done!

Well, it's 1 in the morning here in New Jersey, and now I'm STARVING!!! ;)

Fabulous reviews, and the photos were great, too. My mom, who has never been to WDW, thinks it's strange how my DH and I plan so far ahead of time where we will be eating - if she only knew what she's been missing. Both she and my dad will be coming with us this November, and I'm sure she'll understand why the food is so important when you visit WDW!! I'll make her a convert yet!

Thanks for taking the time to post such detailed reviews - I loved reading about the places I've been to AND not yet been to - and DH and I agree with you - Cape May Cafe is our favorite breakfast!

Thanks for the reviews. I have PSs for many of the resturants that you reviewed, and I haven't been to any of them. Thanks for giving me reassurance on my choices. I also really enjoyed the pics!

Thanks for the fabulous world-class reviews!!
You didn't mention being on a meal plan. Were you? Did you consider it?

Great, Great, GREAT report. Loved reading all of it and seeing the photos of you guys (handsome couple -- and I don't just mean you and Dale! ;) ).

I too am considering Cape May for breakfast now that you've posted about it.

Thanks!

I'm so glad to hear someone else that likes Tony's!

I'm with you on that dipping sauce for the bread.I think we would go back just for that, we liked it so much.

They told us it was a sun dried tomato and parma. cheese pesto.
Sooo good!:D

Well, you certainly made MY restaurant review look sickly :D
I also enjoy reading about others who like to eat as much as we do!

We are staying at BCV in Sept and will definitely try Cape May and Spoodles. Chefs de France is also on my list.

My DH is a definite burger man and I really like a good burger too. I'm glad to see others admit to it!

DH is allergic to shellfish so do you think he would he find enough to eat at Cape May dinner buffet?

Oh Yes! the seafood is only one side out of four in the buffet. The other three sides are a full buffet in themselves; they are salads, entrees, and kids food/desserts. My wife detests seafood and she had no complaint about Cape May.

Great review, I loved all the details you went into, but I must say, 4 weeks in December!! I'm so jealous:)

Such detailed reviews and what a lot of fun to read. You've almost convinced me to give Tony's another try. The mahi mahi at CG sounds so good. Thanks for posting!

Oh My Gosh, I'm absolutely drooling! Great reviews, thanks so much for taking the time to go into such detail. I will have to ad Liberty Tree Tavern and Ohana's to our list of 'must do' restaurants! :D

You're ALL so welcome - all this feedback has made it all worthwhile. I figure in December I owe it to you all to try as many more restaurants as I can - obviously for you guys, I mean it'll be a chore really, I won't enjoy it, but I'll suffer all the food just to write reviews ;);)

Seriously though:

erikthewise - we book room only as we have AP's so no I didn't consider doing a package, can you do that even if you have room only? I guess it would probably work out as very good value for us :)

PigPen - as previously mentioned there is more than plenty to eat at the Cape May Cafe for those who don't like seafood. Ribs, chicken and Prime Rib spring to mind.

chipndale84 - December is a rare and golden opportunity for me that I couldn't resist :teeth: I'm solo for 3 weeks and then Paul joins me for the Xmas week.

What a great review.

I think some of my best memories at WDW involve food . I have a list of places I want to eat at for our honeymoon . I just added Cape May for breakfast and Calafornia Grill for a romantic night out.

WONDERFUL reviews!! Just one question, what time did you eat at Donald's? We ran into the same problem when we ate there and I think it's because we had one of the last seatings.

It was 9.30ish which I don't really consider late and we weren't even in there an hour. I think we just hit it on a bad day.

No, that's not late! How disappointing. We would really like to try it again...maybe the next trip.

What great restaurant reviews, Sam! I'm SO hungry right now!

I'll be at WDW the first week in December, so hope to see you again. :)

Fantasia Sam --

Thanks for the wonderful report! I'm going to be making a few PS reservations at some of the restaurants you mentioned, and your reports were exactly what I was looking for! Brilliant!

PS: I'm with "lmhall2000" -- you have the most lovely complexion and smile! And it's nice to see another redhead gal looking so lovely. Redheads unite!
