Hi Everyone,

My husband and I are going for a long weekend the 1st weekend in Dec to go see all of the x-mas decorations. I have been to Disney so many times, but never during the holidays.
So, I'm trying to get as much in as possible. I'm really there just to see the sites.
I've got my tickets to the Mickey's Very Merry X-mas Party. (of course).
Now, I am trying to figure out where I need to visit.
I'm definitely hitting up the following:
Epcot - Holiday's around the world
MK - of course
MGM - gotta see the lights
Wilderness Lodge - I hear the tree is AWESOME!
Boardwalk...i've seen on TV some of the decorations done there, so I'll snoop around

What I would like to know from all of you...disney experts...what else should I see?
Please give me any and all advice. I don't want to miss a THING!

thx a bunch...and I can't wait!! I was just there a few weeks ago and the cast members were already starting to talk about the decorations!!!

Excellent, I didn't know about the Ginderbread house. I'll definitely have to hit that up!!

The Beach Club has the Chocolate Merry-
go Round. Beautiful. Everything is made of Chocolate, and lots of hidden Mickeys

In addition to the Grand Floridian, all the Boardwalk hotels are must-sees during the holidays. The Beach Club has a gingerbread carousel!

So glad I found this thread, I just decided yesterday that I want to go to the other resorts one day so this information is very helpful!

The large Christmas tree placed right in the center of the walkway in Epcot is awesome and it makes for a great picture. During you visit at Epcot hop on over the Yacht & Beach Club and Boardwalk as others mentioned for some great displays in the lobbies. Have fun :)

Make sure you catch the Osbourne family of lights show with the music playing.

Ditto the WL lobby - not to be missed!

Also, one of our annual faves - the train set-up at YC. It's HUGE!

Just wandering (okay and shopping, too!) around DTD.

When do the resorts usually have the decorations up? We will be there Nov 7th-Nov 20th and would like to experience an early Christmas. When I booked our trip I was not thinking about Christmas decorations and feel like I am getting an extra bonus with the MVMCP and osbourne lights. My son loves trains and my daughter loves anything chocolate and horses so it will be fun to see the resorts decorated.

DTD has local bands and choral groups perform on the stage just across from
Ghiradelli's and WOD. It's nice to get a gourmet coffee, sit at those tables,
and enjoy the free entertainment. The key word here is FREE. :goodvibes

Check out my site, as I have Holiday events at the resorts as well as the parks listed, with some pics as well.
