WDW Resort "Valet Parking" questions? (cost, etc.)

My next WDW trip is coming up, and I plan on driving to most of the WDW Resorts to either meet others for DIS Meets or because I may not feel like making the long walk to the visiter parking lot to my car after several long days. For example, the WDW Boardwalk Resort.

1. Does "Valet Parking" cost $6.00 per Resort?

2. Is it true that you can use the single day "Valet Parking" at other WDW Resorts, or do you pay $6.00 for each WDW Resort that I go to in one day?

3. Is there anything like as a "Length of Stay Valet Parking Pass" that I can purchase?

4. Does anyone have a link to any WDW valet parking information site?

Hi Ray,

Valet parking is $6 per day. You pay at the resort where you park first and if you park again that day you keep the ticket and it is valid at all other WDW resorts ( except Swan and Dolphin ). Not sure about length of stay pass we only Valet parked at GF when visiting for meals. I would think you could maybe charge it to your room though.

Hi Ray,

Yes the Swan and Dolphin are Westin Hotels and run their own Valet parking at the crazy rate of $14 / day. We used it once when we checked in then decided to walk. The extra spends was worth the two minute walk !

It is nice to Valet at WDW resorts especially when you have a PS to get to - we used it 3 or 4 times at GF and the CM's parking were really good.

Has the valet parking rate at the S/D gone up since Sept 2003? It was only $10 per day when we were there in Sept. Compared to valet parking rates for hotels in big cities $10 is a bargin.

We just got back from the WL and valet parked. We knew about the $6 per day and that you could use it at other resorts if you get the card. Well not all the CM's know this. My hubby asked because they didn't give us a card and the guy told him that you pay $6 at EACH resort. This isn't true because the next day a card (it is a mirror hang tag) was left in our car when we picked it up that said it was good for the whole day at all resorts.

Just so you know that not all valet CM's are current on their info.

We checked into the Swan 15th Oct. and were told the price had just been increased to $14 / day a week prior.

Thanks for the info Alec. We will be back at the S/D in Sept of 2004 and that is good to know. $14 is still cheaper then what I pay on business trips.
