WDW Railroad MK Question

What are the operating hours of the train? Does it start running immediately after rope drop and stop an hour before the first nighttime show? Does it stop for the afternoon parade? When I ask CMs at MK or elsewhere, I can never seem to get the correct answer.

1- Open until some time (20 minutes to 75 minutes, give or take) before the MK fireworks.
2- Yes.
3- Not necessarily, but sometimes.
4- Yes, But it will start up agin before the parade is over.
The train stops during the time that the parade passes over the RR tracks
back by Splash Mtn. (See the right side of the map below.)
5- Ask a train conductor CM.
