WDW Photo Walks?

I've seen these mentioned today and I'm incredibly curious. It sounds like something I would LOVE to do. Do they do these regularly? How does it work to sign up? anyone done one?

Where did you see this at? I am there quite often and at times do nothing but shooting pics. It would be fun do shoot as a group.

leave it to me to find something we'd all love do to but nobody's done! Of course I cant remember where I first saw it but I remember reading that Scott Kelby did one that was worldwide last year.

It's kinda hard to find any concrete info on exactly how one goes about signing up for one or where to even start.

I suppose if there were enough of us, maybe we could orchestrate a DISer Photo Walk of our own!

There's an annual event called 'Pixelmania' that's been going once per year for the past 6-7 years now, organized by another Disney photo board...spread over 4 days with various photo meets, discussions, and walks. It's pretty well attended with a good few dozen each year, all photography and Disney enthusiasts. You might see if that falls during a time you can go to Disney or are already planning to be there...it tends to alternate between October and December every year - this year it's in October (for either Halloween or Christmas decor). Lots of fun, free, educational and instructional, and loose enough that you can attend as many or as few meets in a given day as you feel up to...and non-photography family are still welcome to tag along, if they don't get too bored with all the photography talk and time! I can't make this October but I'm penciling this in for the next time it comes around in the fall! Thanks for the info!!!
