FYI in case no one else has posted this yet:

As Tropical Storm Fay approached Florida today, Walt Disney World Resort continued to operate normally, but will open its four theme parks an hour early, at 8 a.m. Tuesday, “to ensure our guests have opportunities to enjoy our parks and Downtown Disney offerings.”
The resort also said it would not waive cancellation or change fees for pre-booked vacation packages unless Fay is upgraded to a hurricane.
The storm policy at Walt Disney Travel Co. allows such fees to be waived on “Magic Your Way” vacations only if the National Hurricane Center issues a hurricane warning for the Orlando area or for a guest’s home within seven days of the scheduled arrival, according to spokeswoman Jacquee Polak.

“We’re not quite at a hurricane warning yet,” Polak said in a phone interview this afternoon. “It’s a tropical storm warning.”
Disney posted details and FAQs on the policy on its website.
By contrast, many airlines are already allowing Florida-bound fliers to change their plans without fees or penalites.

It is great that Disney is opening the parks early but their cancellation policy is ludicrous at best. Most people going to Disney fly and airplanes can't fly through a tropical storm. Heck last thursday there was such a horrible thunderstorm that came through NYC that air travel was majorly screwed up my neighbors flight from Florida was already in the air and diverted to VA and they didn't get a flight home until the next day. The Friday evening there was another storm that cause 4-5 hour flight delays at the airport.
