WDW Park Video for Children??

The planning video is something I love to watch to get me "pumped up" and excited to visit the world. My niece has a sing along dvd of disney LAND.. but the purpose is just songs not to really get her too excited about the park...

My question: Is there a video for little ones.. that shows the characters.. maybe the characters talk to them... and the rides... maybe some of the scarier rides even so they're prepared (face it to a 4 year old snow white is terrifying)

I'd love to get a dvd for my niece to show her the parks. I'm trying to make it so I can take her in a few years (budget doesn't allow any sooner)... I show her my screen saver of the castle and she gets really excited (*she's only 2 right now).. a video that talks to little ones and shows them all around the parks and explains the parks through their eyes would be great! But the only ones I"ve ever seen.. including the shows at the resorts... are really geared toward adults.

If this doesn't exist.. anyone interested in a little business venture? I think this would be a real hit!

I have never seen a marketing video like you described for kids, but what an intersting idea! My kids have all enjoyed the regular planning videos...they love to check out the different resorts and offer opinions on where to stay. We also have loved the sing along videos...both the disney land version and a camping sing along video...both show different parts of parks and resorts and lots of characters. My kids love the planning stage almost as much as I
do. We did one surprise trip for the kids, but i have to say we will probably never do that again because we have found that planning is a big part of the enjoyment in addition to the trip for all of us.

Oh, how old is your niece? My kids have all (ages 10, 9, and 5...1 year not yet) enjoyed browsing the Birmbaum for kids books. We have several that are various years and they love looking at all the pics and reading different facts. They also like to visit the Disney website to view the videos and other online pics I have found.

THis is a great idea. i bought somthing off ebay from someone that taped a few of the rides and wishes and fantasmic. it was done very well too. What i always wondered was why disney doesnt make a video for each resort. i know in the planning video they show them but they really dont do them justice. i think this would be a huge hit, especially if they sold them in the resort gift shops. people like us DISBOARD freaks would buy them!

If you shop @ amazon at all, there is a dvd called Disneyland Fun (I know, it is Disneyland, not WDW!). However, it is a singalong, lots of fun for the little ones. This has been around for awhile, my son enjoyed it when he was younger, he is now 13.
