Has anyone recently purchased the ultimate ticket from the UK site? http://www.disneypackages.co.uk/ We are specifically looking at the 14 day tickets

If you have can you please share your experiences? It says it is just for UK residents but I can't see in the terms and conditions anything that actually says that we can't use it (other than I'm guessing a UK credit card). It is of course cheaper than buying direct from the US site.

Thanks in advance!

Hi shushh,

I have no idea about the tickets, however a while back I was interested in the UK packages. I too spent ages reading through the terms and conditions and there was nothing to say non-UK residents couldn't buy them. However, when I emailed them I got told that I had to be living in the UK or EU.
Before buying anything, perhaps email Disney to check.

I emailed the website to ask about buying them from NZ and they said you have to supply a UK address :(

Wanderlust and Saskiwi, thank you for taking the time reply. If it is simply a UK address they need then its no problem! I will email them just in case.

Shussh it was a couple of years ago now, but a friend of mine booked her holiday through one of the UK sites. She used a friends address in the UK as her address and used her Aussie card. From memory she did actually tell the company she was doing it that way and they were fine with it as long as she was using a UK address.

She also got 21 day WDW passes for herself and her DH & kids and didn't have any trouble using them. Nobody ever asked for her passport to check that it matched the country.

My friend has recently booked. She used a UK address, but Australian credit card and email. I believe the tickets get mailed to the UK address a couple of weeks before travel. Your right about the T&C, there is nothing about residency.

Jade+3 which site did your friend go through?

I believe she went through the official site. They are travelling the same time as you. It annoys me how that these packages don't get offered to everyone. I even emailed a complaint but got the standard thanks for your feedback reply.

i did this in 2011 by going through a UK travel agent who booked everything for me, I paid over the phone and the receipt was posted to the agent. I purchased a package so my tickets were on my KTTW card.

I was wondering this too, as I couldn't find anything on the site that said I couldn't buy through them. I was looking at a package in Jan including free dining at Yacht Club for our honeymoon. I emailed them but the standard response I received still wasn't very clear. I may not be resident in the UK but I am a UK citizen (just been living in NZ for last 7 years) and I still have a UK bank account that I will be paying from for this trip. Don't have a UK address but my sister still lives there so could get tickets sent to her - my only worry is if they don't arrive before she comes to NZ for our wedding. Do you think this would be okay? Tried the US site but can't seem to book starting in Jan 2014 yet.

Sorry I've jumped on the Aus forums as no option for people in NZ! :(

Welcome kahrani,

Whilst this forum is Australia by name it's ANZ by nature so you're definitely in the right place.

I'd be inclined to take the deal but I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions of the UK deal. If the email wasn't clear could you phone them to gain some clarity? Here's hoping you're able to access the deal.

Welcome aboard. We embrace the ANZAC spirit.

improbably going to use orlandoattractions.com to get 14 day ultimate tickets for WDW, they are only sold for the UK market but i emailed them and you can pick up the tickets from their kissimmee office , it doesnt matter if you dont live in uk or even have a uk address
they do some pretty good ticket packages as well

Welcome to the Anzac section of the DisBoards.

We did try to get this section renamed to Anzac a couple of years ago. We tried to contact the WebMasters....the silence was overwhelming!

As a quick update, we ended up buying from Orlando attractions. We're going in December so will let you know how we go!

Yes we got the 14 ultimate tickets which are for UK residents. We paid with our australian credit cards with no problems.

Many thanks, that's good to know. I will make a note for our first trip to the World next year :)

Oh well at least I know I'm welcome here anyway! Hehe. It's actually amazing how many people still don't realise NZ is a separate country from Australia, I was just talking to a Doctor at work today who is from Taiwan and he said he had no idea until he got here....

Re the UK site, I'm tempted to just input my sister's address and go for it, but I'm waiting to hear about renting points at the resorts I want to go to first, if I can't get them this site will be the next cheapest option. Will let you guys know if I get anywhere.
