WDW Park Question

Hi All,

I need your help. My friend is leaving for WDW on Friday and she is willing to pick up VMK stuff for me. She said to to just write down directions and what I want. The problem is that I don't really know what is available at the parks or where to get it. Please explain to me. I know there is some sort of quest...but that is all I know. It has to be quick pick up stuff since she is not a VMK player and I don't want to take up too much of her time. If there are question answer type things than it would be great to have the answers as she will not be willing to spend the time hunting down the answers. So in my hour of need, I turn to my fabulous new friends on the dis for help and education!

Up in the stickies it lists where to go, what to do, and the answers for the quests. You just have to scroll down pretty far to find them.

In a nutshell, there are a total of 5 quests. You will need to print 2 of them for your friend to take with her. They are the Tomorrowland quest and the Christmas quest. Your friend will find the 3 other quests at VMK central (frontierland, Fantasyland and Adventureland.) Your friend may or may not be able to do a insider tour. They are offered off and on during the Christmas season. (However, most have been getting the pirate stuff when they turn in their quests.)

There are 6 stores selling stuff to get VMK cards. You can get a wanted poster card/code from buying a picture at either Buzz Lightyear space ranger spin or at Splash mountain. The prices of pictures start at $16.95. You can get a red penny press card/code for buying candy at the candy shop in frontierland. You can get this for as little as $1.39 for pack of gobstoppers. At the pin shop in frontierland, you buy a real pin for $6.95 and you get a virtual pin card/code. At the hat chapeau you buy a real hat and get a code/card for gold mickey ears. The cheapest hat is $7.99. At Sir mickeys in Fantasyland, you buy a real t-shirt and get a virtual shirt. Cheapest shirt is around $14.95.

After filling these cards out, your friend can go to VMK central and turn them in. It usually only takes about 5 minutes if there is no line.

Your friend can go Chapeau (?) the hat store neat Town Town Resturant on Main Street, and if they buy a hat they will get a VMK card for golden Mickey ears.

They can also purchase a few other things at disney but they are available in game except for the red candy press which can be gotten by buying candy at Frontierland store.

Lastly if they would be willing to create a character, you will get a born in park character with black mickey ears.

Print off the the quest off the Christmas and tomorrowland quests and fill in the answers for her. Also the 3 in park quest card are scratch off the answers. Hand her the answers. She can stratch off the answers while eating lunch. Also if she does buy any item that you get a card for remind her to ask for a card I found I had to ask for a card they did not always offer. Also if you buy 3 pins you cam get 3 cards. Good luck

The Holiday Quest Answers are in the Guide also I put them there last night.

Petzer if you would PM me your answers if they are different that would help...seems the fansite has different answers for the WDW one.

just another note the t-shirt you get at WDW isn't that the same t-shirt as the code already listed or is it different?

I have a similar question, since I'll be going to the MK in a month (wow, exactly a month from today - didn't realize till I looked at the date on my computer ). Anyways, are the quest questions the same as they were in July/August? I got my Mother playing VMK and she'd like to do the quests, and I figured I could help her out some since I did them in July. Also, isn't there supposed to be a series 2 of the cards? Just curious.

The quest cards have not changed. They are the same as when they originally came out.

The only series two cards at WDW right now are the pirate quest and the new holiday quest cards.
