The board search function is not working on my computer right now, so it's possible that this question has already been asked.

I just downloaded iTunes, and I am wanting to download music from the parks at WDW. I am typing keywords such as "disney world" and "disney music" etc. in the search bar, but only podcasts and music from disney movies is showing up.

Does everyone else on here get their park music from iTunes, or should I go somewhere else? Is there something else I should search for in the iTunes store?
I'm looking for all types of WDW park music: rides, background music, parades, fireworks, etc.

Thanks for your help!

If you are looking for random Disney things try searching for
"Monorail"
"Carosel of Progress"
"Splash Mountain"
"Illumininations"
"Fantasmic"
"wishes"

If you are looking for REAL background notice (music you can hear walking through the park but JUST barely)... Go to www.mouseworldradio.com and click radio 1 (that is the free station) then you can register to "Live 365" From there you can listen to LOTS of background music plus many ride songs and spiels... If you would like while listening you are given the option to buy each song individually but you do not have to. ENJOY

Thank you both so much! Exactly what I was looking for!

Now if only there was a way to get this music on iTunes and onto my iPod, I'd be set!

Easy just connect the cord from your Ipod to the USB hook up on your computer. Then export your songs to your ipod

Wait, are you saying I can get Live 365 on my iPod? Like, I can make Radio Buane Vista play onto my iPod. I'm technoogically stunted, so I really need this explained to me slowly. ;)

I'm still trying to figure out how I could record D-Magic Radio on live 365 and make CDs to listen to in the car. If I could do that, I would be one happy lady :Pinkbounc

Some programs (I use Roxio) have an audio recorder option. I can record anything that streams on my computer. It's fairly easy (at least for me, I work in a radio station and the audio recorder from Roxio is ver similar to the programs we use - and those programs didn't take long for me to figure out) and the only "problem" is that it isn't as quick as downloading - you have to record real time. . .but then again it isn't too traumatic to have to sit and listen to Disney music for awhile! LOL

You should check out the Podcasts, there is a lot of great park content and songs in these! Not to mention the great ride thrus!! I'm hooked to the podcasts, they keep me in touch with my favorite place on earth!

Thank you soooo soooo much PanamaMike!!! The website is fantastic and I'm now busy making a whole bunch of new CDs for our next trip in July!!! :rolleyes1

I actually downloaded the podcasts and have really enjoyed listening to them!

And rondaK, how can I make CD's from the website PanamaMike gave? That would be perfect!

Now does anyone know how to transfer these songs to iTunes?
Thanks! :thumbsup2

1. Save the files into a folder or folders somewhere on your hard drive (somewhere you won't move them otherwise you'll have to do this all over again)

2. Open up iTunes

3. Click on "File" in the top left of the screen.

4. Choose "Add Folder To Library" and find the folder that you've stored the songs. If you store in multiple folders, repeat this step for each folder you have them saved in (for example, if you have separate folders to break them up like the site does - by park, by attraction, etc)

iTunes will take care of converting it for you. If you add a lot at once it may take a few minutes to finish, but other than the waiting - you're done!

Oh and if you want to edit the "labels" so that it's titled a certain way, just right click on the file once it's in your iTunes library and click on "Get Info" then click the "info" tab and change it to whatever you want!

Go to the music file and right click the file. Go down to "save target as". Click this and then choose your music program file. I use sonic, itunes, media player, etc. Save the song into that program. You can then burn those songs onto CDs directly from that file. I hope I explained this well enough. If you need help, just email me and I will try to walk you through it. I was thrilled to finally be able to burn Disney music to CD!! I listen to Live365, but was never able to transfer any of that music to CD. :woohoo:
